I think there should be a fair trade - off though. True that the org needs content to get their money back but at the same time the players needs to focus more on the game if they want to win. After what Stax and Mako said, I'm even more impressed with IGLs of all teams, especially JohnQT. Regardless of if you think he's the best IGL or just good enough, it's very impressive of him to be able to lead the team so well, still frag out, and the amount of content they had to deal with, since it's clear that Sentinels are one of the best org content wise. (Also, I'm not really a JohnQT fan, so don't flame me on that)

What MaKo said about IGLing is basically what Ethan said in one "funny meant" sentence (that IGLing is extremely hard). I still know that PlatChat and some other Valorant influencers disucssed this whole IGL thing in 2023 and some literally said that "when 5 players all getting their kill and are able to get their kills continuously, then you don't need an IGL". And so many situations and statements since then proofed them otherwise. Chronicle and Derke said that Fnatic won't work without Boaster (even though Leo can IGL too and is IGLing maps from time to time) and teams like NRG during 2024 Split 1 etc. all have shown that an competent IGL is super important. To get just 5 instead of 4 young talents in a team won't make it better... you always need 1 experienced dude who takes the pressure off his players in heated moments due to calling, who keeps to strats that have been planned and practiced and who is also cheering his team up and getting angry / sad / throwing (etc.) mates back on track. Boo, Boaster, FNS, johnqt, valyn, stax, Saadhak, SEIDER etc. are super important for their teams. And they still would be even if they wouldn't get 50% of their frags.

Boostio made a mistake on his stream an now instead of closing the wound he's having to respond to this etc. Course he's brought it on himself but you can also understand his frustration with a friend trying to blow it out of proportion for his own gain. I think Boostio feels shitty for being called out. I think it was fair of Zellsis though. As a person Zellsis lives for the content AND the game grind. He loves everything about it, so what Boostio said was lowkey insulting so I don't blame him. Ppl don't realize Boostio is new to all the content aspects of a big brand, top tier team.. EG didn't do content really.. They just scrimmed and played the game. But, 100T is a way bigger ORG and has a lot of sponsors that expect them to have content done.. Makes them money and the sponsors. EG was just a lazy org as far as content etc.. went..
I have been saying this since tokyo 23, DRX NEED to change their coaching staff they did more harm than good to this well made team. Who tf called to replace RB, Zest, and Stax when they clearly were not the major problems. I am not sure exactly how they messed up such a good roster.

Regardless of if you think he's the best IGL or just good enough, it's very impressive of him to be able to lead the team so well, still frag out, and the amount of content they had to deal with, since it's clear that Sentinels are one of the best org content wise.
(Also, I'm not really a JohnQT fan, so don't flame me on that)

What MaKo said about IGLing is basically what Ethan said in one "funny meant" sentence (that IGLing is extremely hard). I still know that PlatChat and some other Valorant influencers disucssed this whole IGL thing in 2023 and some literally said that "when 5 players all getting their kill and are able to get their kills continuously, then you don't need an IGL". And so many situations and statements since then proofed them otherwise. Chronicle and Derke said that Fnatic won't work without Boaster (even though Leo can IGL too and is IGLing maps from time to time) and teams like NRG during 2024 Split 1 etc. all have shown that an competent IGL is super important. To get just 5 instead of 4 young talents in a team won't make it better... you always need 1 experienced dude who takes the pressure off his players in heated moments due to calling, who keeps to strats that have been planned and practiced and who is also cheering his team up and getting angry / sad / throwing (etc.) mates back on track. Boo, Boaster, FNS, johnqt, valyn, stax, Saadhak, SEIDER etc. are super important for their teams. And they still would be even if they wouldn't get 50% of their frags.
