I had this one old ass bitter math teacher that taught my sister (who is 8 years older than me) and got her kicked out of the school since we went to a prestigious school. I had her class last year and I kept failing her tests with a 13 at most if I was lucky, she led me to believe I was dumb. But somehow I managed to pass state tests with a 70, so I have a suspicion she would give me lower grades than I got and use that to scold me. Thankfully, she left this year but i'm upset she didn't leave a year earlier so I wouldn't have had her class. Now i'm in a different math class and my teacher is very patient, constructive and encouraging
Didn't start having homework until 4th grade got chicken pox one week missed a whole week had a ton of makeup work to do during school and a ton to take home took me 2 weeks to catch up but still enjoyed school that year regardless
I got lucky with my first year back at middle school in-person. My teachers were like "If you don't do my work in class THEN it is homework.". Only time I can really recall dealing with anything other than math homework, was with a group projects where my teammates sold me and my records every day. I was the hero of that group project, and I still don't like the people that were useless during the project. Unless you got lucky like me then you'd be dealing with truckloads of work every day.

And he for real had to say to me on the last day, "Addison, can you teach the class (whatever he said)?" I obviously said "No I can't." 2 seconds later im in the principal's office.
