Do I think the games are rigged?? Probably not but it’s public record that in 2007 the NBA had a massive gambling scandal and by their own reports the commissioner David Stern was aware of it and Tim Donaghy took the fall even though it was reported to be a league wide scandal. With that being said My only push back is I hate this whole absolutists view that it’s impossible for the games to be fixed.
A lot of these shows and guest won’t admit much about it given they have credentials to games and stuff like that. They have sponsors. Same with them talking about gambling is a problem in sports. They’re not going to give you a solid in depth answer because they still have to bow down to
Just the other day an umpire got fired by the MLB for gambling violations so it's not hard to believe that it could be something referees are doing by themselves either.
They don't need to address it. Just because a million whining , nit wit, loser, conspiracy theorists talk about it on the internet doesn't make it true. Its obviously not true. That's why they don't want to talk about it.
@brettpetty7840 they both also spent a week before the game and the week after the game pushing those conspiracy theories so I think they got their fill even though they still can't help themselves from hinting at it
The Chiefs will always be associated with getting a helping hand. It’s simply happened to many times with game defining calls. Without that, they aren’t in the Super Bowl,
@@1ofmanymikesoh stop it. Buff had 29 chances to win that game. But nobody (since the Brady Patriots) win close games more often and better than the Chiefs.
There's an easy fix for the penalties/refs... during the Playoffs only, allow each team 2 challenges that only work for penalty reviews. Then you're covered
The problem with that plan is some penalties aren't reviewable or do we change all the reviewable rules for the playoffs, which im not against, but you know people would have a fit not to mention all the other problems it would cause
@@humaux we're humans, we'll never have a foolproof system. But they'll never go to complete 100% review of each & every play, so some incremental change is probably the best we can hope for imo
@@markbailey17 there's no way the league will ever allow a system that can review every play, nor should they bcuz it'd make 5hr games with no flow to them. I'm old enough to remember games in the 80s & 90s where the fans could see if a play was called right or wrong while the players just dealt with it & nobody complained back then nearly as much as they do now. They always told the players to overcome the bad calls, bcuz like life you're gonna get some bad breaks. It'll never be perfect, but giving the teams some agency in the process by them choosing when & what to review would help & is probably as good as they're willing to do

Myles doesn’t get to pick where he goes 🤣 he’s under contract for 2 years plus you can Tag him. He doesn’t have a no trade clause. Highest bidder wins and if it’s not high enough you suit up or get finned.
Chiefs are not getting measurable help through calls. A few calls went their way, the majority of which were arguably called correctly, just as a few calls went the other teams' ways. The issue is bias confirmation to stroke individuals' desire for particular outcomes in what is essentially a spiritual cul-de-sac bereft of true community and meaning.
Why trade Cooper Kupp instead of Matt Stafford? Kupp has been very injured the last several seasons and Puka Nacua is a suitable replacement. Who is going to replace Stafford that the Rams can get for cheap? Maybe the Rams draft a late round QB that could take over in a few years, but a Brock Purdy does not come along every year. The Rams would probably like to keep both Kupp and Stafford but they probably need to trade one of them for cap reasons.
i don't know that the rams NEED kupp's cap space immediately, BUT paying a dude $20m (or whatever) to block and lead and make the odd catch here and ther just isn't necessary. i'll be sad to see him go, but 2021 cooper kupp just isn't the guy on the rams right now. freeing up that money CAN help a lot.
@@markbailey17 If they trade Kupp before June 1, they save $12.5M. After June 1, $20M. For Stafford, the numbers are $4.3M and $27M. Rams have $33M in space right now; however, that does not take into account any other signings this offseason. The next 3 players based on cap are all offensive linemen. You're right that they don't need to trade him this year but if they had to trade one of the top 5 cap players, it would be Kupp.
Chiefs for a 3 peat. History. Love it. Glad to be alive to witness. Most people who watch SB are not even fans of the game. Just halftime hookers and commercial freaks. Dnt mke commercials like they used to. Too PC.
Wow Dan Patrick is just losing it. It's not about the city. It's about the player. The NFL was desperate for the next Brady since he was on his way out. They fix it for mahomes, not Kansas city. Rofl for dan to say it's not fixed cuz the chiefs are in Kansas city is idiotic

Oh and then said it was an insurrection and an invasion, even though capitol police unlocked the door and escorted the demonstrators inside. Clown.
If I hadn’t watched the Chiefs continually getting the calls/no calls in all those game changing moments, I might believe nothing is going on. They are trying very hard to put a lid on this kinda talk, but it’s too late because we all saw it with our own eyes.
It’s not the league fixing games. It’s the officials. Find out why. Are they betting on games. Do they have an improper relationship with players like autographs, jerseys, etc.
