I said awhile back that the Powermatic PRX was screaming to be released with an ice blue dial……& so it was & it looks stunning! The lighter colour really shows off the tapisserie pattern more than the darker coloured variants.
I went to Jared to get a blue or green, then saw this ice blue for the first time 🥶… bought an ice blue automatic and a navy quartz both 40mm… since I bought two Jared gave me 15% off
If only this came out sooner, kinda like it a bit more in how it stands out compared to my blue dial, outstanding look…but overall really love the prx line
I'm in the same boat. I love my navy blue, but I have other navy blue dials, so I think this would stand out more in my collection and see more time on wrist. I might have to make the switch!
Can you explain to me the whole selecting your strap size option when purchasing from the tissot website? Will they precut it? Do they include additional links just in case by wrist gets bigger?
@@jcab3424 greetings. I bought my watch from a tissot boutique store and they sized the bracelet for me at the store. They put the removed bracelet links inside the box of the watch. If you het yours from online, i would assume they will put whatever links they remove inside the box of the watch so you can put it back on in case your wrist gets bigger. 😊

This color is gorgeous. I was able to purchase when it just recently dropped. When I thought the mint green was super nice, this come along and moves right next to it. Both are simply fantastic looking on the wrist.
Was looking to purchase a PRX for a while, probably the green dial. After seeing this come out I today rushed to my local jeweller as I knew he sells the range. He hadn't heard of this release yet but I pulled the trigger and he ordered a few. Hopefully shining on my wrist in a few weeks! Best dial by far imo.
When Tissot will (hopefully soon) release the 35mm Powermatic PRX with all the waffle dials, I might get this ice blue one...at first I was thinking about the normal blue or the green one, but the green waffle dial looks almost black in most lighting conditions and the blue is just very mainstream (not that that's worng, but why not go for something a little more unique?).
With the 35mm market reserved for the Quartz version, I doubt they will release the 35mm mechanical size any time soon. I think you shouldn't keep your hopes up.

I ordered mine on April 30th and received it today. I powered it up and waited 30 minutes put it on my timegrapher and was amazed to find that it was - 20 s/d with a beat error of 2.4 ms in multiple positions. And I noticed that it is not able to be regulated. Literature I have read tells me that it was supposed to be "laser" regulated at the factory... I don't know what kind of laser they use but somebody screwed up

Thank you. I believe this might tip the scale over the mint quartz variant. I really wish they would make the mint dial in the Powermatic 80 variant. I get that it will cannibalize the quartz, but the dial differences, in my eyes, are more than enough to keep proficient profits.
This automatic in 35 mm!!! It would (... with the integrated bracelet) look and wear like a 37 mm and this was just right for an elegant dress watch - what it nowadays is. The perception has changed after the tool watches took over 30 years ago: what was once meant as sporty steel watch is now a dress watch compared to all these divers and Fliegers 😉👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻
About to a PRX as my first watch. I really like the ice blue, however it might be a bit quirky to have as my only watch which makes me lean to one of the original colors. Think i’m still going for ice blue - no shortage of other great black, white, blue, green watches out there for later. Thoughts?
I was looking to pick one up, but quickly realized they have all been bought up and re-listed on various web platforms 30-40% above msrp. That is idiotic. I even got warnings from the platforms when i suggested a number that matched the actual list price. I hope these guys get stuck with them. I seriously doubt Tissot will stick to one run. I am new to collecting watches and its a major turn-off. How do the folk that have been doing this a while feel about scalping?
I was in the tissot store and tried Bla ck and ice blue on my wrist... I was wearing a rose color tshit and noticed the black fits with everything, the ice blue looked cool as a watch but not fitting with many outfits, diffiuld decision but I bought the black one
@@Sayadelify yeah that’s quite true, the black is very versatile and can be worn with any outfit. Honestly I probably wouldn’t switch it out for the “Tiffany blue” anymore.
I have a 7.2 inch / 185mm wrist and seeing multiple videos, the 40mm seems to wear bigger, the 35mm on the other hand seems too small..I believe the sweet spot would be around 37mm - 39mm.. I cant decide what would look best..
All about the OG blue dial for me. Though I think this watch would be great for some people. Kind of like the Tiffany blue color on other watches, it for me but I get why people like it.

I recently found out that the Powermatic 80 movement, that everyone seems to love, cannot be regulated and contains many plastic parts. The jewellers therefore refuse to service them. This makes them disposable after a few years. With this in mind would we all be better of with quartz ?

Tissot hit the ball not just out of the park with the PRX, they hit it into orbit. Then they released the PRX chronograph and another ball left the atmosphere. Just when you think that's it Tissot release new variations and this one is stunning. I want to see this in the flesh even though I have the blue dial PM80.
I am waiting for all the colours and sizes to come out cause I almost ended up buying a mint version. I will wait and May be in few years have a prx. May be.

nope. they replace it with a completely new movement at a low price during the overhaul.
The PRX never really caught my eye until I saw this color! It looks so good!!! I have a tiny wrist, so I'm not sure if it would really work for me...
