Thank you so much once again, Tochi. I’ve just passed my theory test! Your insights were incredibly helpful and gave me the confidence I needed. I scored 50/50 on the multiple choice and 58/75 on the hazard perception. Unfortunately, I got zero on 2 clips, likely because I over-clicked, but I’m thrilled with the overall result.
My main advice is don’t 2nd guess yourself as it’s easy to do under pressure. The official app was really useful for me, can’t remember how much it was (might have been about £5 or something) but, I just blasted the mock questions loads without overthinking it like you, probably took me 10ish minutes per test and flagged the ones I wasn’t 100% sure on. I think I started getting about 35/36 and if I got a question wrong I’d make sure next time I get it right. The hazard perception was dead easy like you say, click if there’s a potential one click again a second later and again just as it happens. Think I got 47/50 on the questions (think 43 is to pass) and the hazard perception I got 68/75. (Think it’s about 48/75 so, if you miss one it’s not the end of the world). Would recommend doing maybe 10ish hours of driving unlike me just because the theory expires 2 years and the waiting list for the practical at my test centre is about 6 months now! Passed my practical 2nd time last week and did my theory end of Jan/start of Feb.
I gave 2 attempts first one I got 32 in mcq and 55 in hazard perception and in the second attempt I got 37 in mcq and 57 in the other one. I gave plenty of mock tests reviewed tough questions. I managed to get even above 45 in mcq in couple of mocks too.
I am preparing for my test after failed my theory test 42/50 also the hazard I have 37/75 practicing more to master this theory also hazard questions have been included you have to do it effectively thank you for your explanation you helped me a lot with how you presented your explanation.
@samerahussain999 aw that's a shame, but you can learn from ur mistakes and try again in a few months. Dont feel bad 54% of ppl fail on their first test so its kinda normal
@@TheRealTemuOfi you did well on the hazard… just keep grinding multiple choice questions on the mock tests and don’t think of the test as a big deal! 🫡

i recommend understanding what a hazard is which is anything that cau8ses your vehicle to change position, speed up or break also sometimes you might click too early so just click a second or so after it
I think you should spend the rest of your time focusing on multiple-choice questions and try focusing more on understanding and less on memorizing. Goodluck with your upcoming test!!
