Guys, I had an hour private session with Narf and learned some awesome methods that I wasn't aware for decades ( 4 years). He has got very good knowledge about the content and his delivering method to me was very much in layman terms and hands on practical. He is very committed delivers the topic very clear and concise. His charge is US$ 45.00 per hour but it is really worth it. By the way I am from Calgary, Canada. Although we have 16 hours of time difference he showed up on time and very punctual. Narf is very much focused, results oriented and provides the best service to his audience and students. I will be scheduling another session with him soon to learn more. Cheers

Just the information on copying in from a program is worth its weight in gold to me. This is something I have been trying to figure out and just not got around to asking on the Korg Kronos Facebook group. How to create splits and unselect the damper pedal was also useful. You must have spent countless hours learning this stuff and very much appreciate you sharing your knowledge in easy bite sized pieces.

Excellent! Thank you for this. I'm really glad people like you are doing tutorials on the kronos again. It seemed that for some reason, nobody was. I've had mine since the Kronos first came out but I'm still learning. I think I'll never be done with this beautiful baby! Every day is another wonder and like I said before , I've had mine since 2011, September. The best keyboard ever!

Hello UA-camrs, This is Ashok again from Calgary, AB, Canada. I had my second session with Francis last Sunday, May 30th and he covered many aspects including how to change the Karma scenes during life performance as well as organizing the set lists with sounds for performance. At last he also showed me how to utilize the Karma scenes when composing an Orchestral theme. Honestly I owned my Kronos 2 for 4 years but never knew I could do all those. Unfortunately spent a lots of $$$ purchasing sounds to compose my themes and songs, which could have easily avoided if had come across this program before. Based on the session I was able to change my bass with the Karma effect on my new hip hop song that I composed, which, will be in the media within 2-3 weeks. Again, if you own a Kronos it is ridiculously prudent to go through these sessions with Francis. I invested in it and instantly starting to reap the harvest and ongoing guys. Cheers

Dang, you are fortunate. So many churches buy nords which are just so limited. Good on you for digging into the gear too. It's especially tough when it's not in your home. It took me getting lessons before I could finally crack mine. Most of other keys players at my church have piano backgrounds only and don't want to mess with the software even on the nord. I think they are limited to about 3 or 4 different patches and relying on stems to cover the rest.

Great to see someone actually explaining in a very good way how to use the Kronos from the ground up! Hope this turns into a Series. One of the “most wanted” explanations needed re the Kronos is saving, ksc files, samples etc and then finding them later...How to import purchased libraries and place them where you want them. The whole structure of the Kronos is a major prob when people first buy them. There are You Tube videos, but not as well explained as yours! Great work. Hope you get thousands of “likes”.

Helped me solve a different problem, thanks. I started a song using Setup to record (enter+record) and then wanted to add other timbres to some unused sequencer tracks, but they were muted. Unmuting them didn’t make them heard. They were still silent for some reason. I don’t know what the reason was but I solved it by using “copy from program” in the drop down list to import the timbre to the track. That seemed to unsilence it.

I have Roland PK-5A MIDI bass pedals that I intend to use (as a controller) with my Korg Kronos 2. My question is how can I assign a particular bass sound preset from my Kronos’ sound bank to the MIDI bass pedals, while simultaneously being able to play an entirely different sound on my Kronos? I hope this is not too complex a question for this forum!!! Thanks so much for your help!!!
