I grew up in a JKD gym in Indiana and watching his videos... until one day I flew out to California and began my training directly with him and Guro Dan Inosanto. I've been with Vunak as a full instructor ever since. The man is truly a legend. And yeah he has a crazy past... but man does he have some crazy stories and knowledge.

@@christianmonturanoii6539 Before I practiced BJJ I had practiced Judo and we had the Guard in Judo. Actually the open guard or spider guard which is more advanced than the closed guard.

Judo has had the guard forever. If Paul had done Judo he would have already known about the guard.
