Building LED light animation in Photoshop

Have been searching for this effect fro long time. Finally created by myself. This is just a Quick easy method for creating Decorative running building LED lights. Play around to get your desired effect. any question in commens or mail me at [e-mail]

1) Adjusting levels 0:18 - Only if required
2) Creating new layer Fill with black and reduce opacity 0:27
3) Merge both layers and duplicate the layer 0:38
4) Create new layer > Fill white > Place it between two layers 0:43
5) Select the top layer, add mask. Select brush tool, adjust size and smoothness if required. From Brush properties window adjust spacing.
Before using brush tool, confirm mask is selected and foreground color is black. By holding shift create from one point to another, where you want the light effect. 0:48 (You can also do this using eraser instead of Mask and brush)
6) Once you done step 5, Add new layer > Create a rectangle as shown, and fill with any color> 1:18
7) Using eraser, partially erase lower edge. Place it between two building layers, You can delete white filled layer now 1:28
8) Now place the red layer at bottom or where your lighting begins, better if its not visible. Go to windows and click Timeline. Please note it should video timeline (Its available CS4 and above versions) 1:50
9) As the red layer selected on timeline, add a position keyframe at the very beginning. Place the timeline indicator to next point. (as per required duration) and move red layer to next point. This will create an animation of movement from point 1 to point 2. 1:56
Duplicate the red layer, change color using hue (Ctrl + U), Note that it should start from the time where first one ends. Alternatively you may need to extend main layers (In this case 2 building layers) to match with your timeline length.
Once done, you can use export option to save in Gif format or Mp4 video.

how we can confirm mask which is selected and foreground color is black?

I didn't understand... Here i just clicked mask button for black fill layer. Then select brush tool, u should click on mask icon(on right side, with white). Then select brush tool, foreground colour should be black.

Shortcut for filling color is
"Alt + Backspace" for foreground color
OR
"Ctrl + Backspace" for background color
