- How to make Coconut Macaroons the Panlasang Pinoy way.

Ingredients:
14 ounces (about 400 grams) Sweet Shredded Coconut (or Desecated Coconut)
½ cup butter
½ cup brown sugar
3 pieces raw eggs
14 ounces condensed milk
Instructions:
Place the butter in a big bowl and cream using a fork
Add-in the brown sugar and mix well
Add the eggs and condensed milk then stir/beat until all ingredients are blended
Put-in the Sweetened Shredded Coconut and distribute evenly with the other ingredient in the mixture
In a mold (with paper cups if possible), place 1 tablespoon of the mixture on each of the cups
Pre-heat oven at 370 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes
Bake the Coconut Macaroon mixture for 20 to 30 minutes or until color turns golden brown.
Serve during dessert or snack time. Share and Enjoy!

I started the videos back in 2009 using a Pentax point and shoot camera. It is a priced possession because it helped me take this channel to where it is today.
At present, I use Panasonic Hc-X920, Sony FDR-AX100 4K Ultra HD Camcorder, and Nikon D5.

I made this a couple of times already but on the second time I added 1tsp of vanilla essence, tastes much better. I also used 1/2 dessicated coconut and 1/2 shredded coconut. I always use a mixer, much quicker and easier. Thanks panlasang pinoy for sharing this recipe :0

mas ok sya pag may 1/2 cup na flour.... para buo sya d buhaghag

hinde ba pwede e microwave ang butter para mas madali?
Ayon Ginawa ko nga sa Blender lahat....Ang sarap! Dalawang Klasi, ang Half same as with you! ang Half bowl naman Nilagyan ko ng Flour... Ang May Flour yun ang Mas Masarap parang Cake...ang walang Flour Matamis.....Salamat
400g po ba talaga 'yung sa coconut? Noong binuhos ko po kasi 'yung 1st pack ko which is 200g, parang na-overpower na po ng coconut 'yung misture. It's not as "liquidy" as you mixture anymore. I don't know why.
Fault ko rin. Dapat inunti-unti ko ang paglagay para napansin ko sana. Maybe I'll put less than 200g next time. Alam ko narin kung bakit sweetened dapat 'yung coconut. Kapag kasi nginunguya mo na, matitira nalang 'yung coconut sa bibig mo tapos 'yun nalang ang malalasahan mo. :P
umm can I ask. pwede po ba itong i-bake sa oven toaster?

Ang hirap maghanap nng Brown sugar d2 sa Oman. So is it ok na gumamit nng White sugar instead, or hnd pwd?

just a tip! just before you take it out of the oven melt a bit of cheese on top :)

What if I don't have any brown sugar. Is it ok to use regular granulated sugar instead?
kuya, di po ba sya sobrang matamis? Kasi po gumawa ako dati, ginamit ko po sweetened shredded coconut, sobrang tamis po nya e.. panu ba ang pedeng gawin ko para di ganong matamis ang macaroons ko? Iwas po kc ako sa sobrang matamis, ung tamang timpla ng tamis lang po ang gusto kong gawin sana. Salamat po ng marami.
i think it should be made clear that he is using "sweetened' condensed milk.
He said with in 10 minutes make sure your ove is 400 degree hot then you can start to cook your coconut macaroons..but you need to keep on eye as well...so means no time limit...or just cook in 10 minutes in 400 degrees hot what do you think?
Masarap , the only thing I don't like about it is the paper cup sticks to the macaroons

Good video but to a tip to keep things healthy, only use about 1/3(third) or 1/2 at most of sugar to coconut amount, for example if your going to use 200g(grams) of coconut then use no more than 150g of sugar, then just mix well.
And no need for the butter, the eggs will keep everything together after mixed well.
I just made some of these and I want to keep making them they taste so nice =)

You should not put the eggs directly into the bowl because what if the eggs are rotten.

I tried this one but the measurement for the desiccated coconut is too much. I didn't get the same result as what I've seen on this video. Tsk
that is sweetened condensed milk which is usually used for those kinds of baking.
