Thank you. Number of integrations depends on size of the project and volume of systems that your customer has. Start with basics integrations and grow gradually. Every integration is unique and there is a new learning.

Can you please correct me we can maintain as String or Int?

Hello Ram, That's a very good question. Since you are already from ABAP background, you already have right skill set to migrate to SAP CPI. This knowledge would be very useful for SAP Integrations. Especially IDOCs, RFC. ABAP Proxies and Web Services. Prerequisites for SAP CPI are, Good knowledge on BPM, Basics of Cloud, some knowledge of programming (Java or Groovy) Good knowledge on XML, JSON and basic concepts of integration (Mapping, Adapters, Protocols) and soon. Knowledge of SAP PI/PO is not mandatory. Hope this helps. Good luck with your SAP CPI journey.

Hello Kode, Its nice to have a basic programming knowledge and some knowledge about basic integration terms, API, Protocols, JSON, XML, mapping, and soon. Start learning CPI and main importantly practice. During this process you can learn all the concepts. Hope this helps.

Yes, you are right. As i explained, to keep the scenario simple i used String for all parameters. But Ideally you should use correct data types.
