I don't think Inho (001) was intentionally failing, he definitely looked frustrated there. I do believe however that he is better for the last game than Gi-hun (456) because of how fast he reacted to save that last hit. Even if they switched, I think Gi-hun wouldn't have done better in the 4th game.

they acctually had him switch to his right hand because no matter what he always got it with his left is what i heard
He’s left-handed, and his first few were with his right hand. Even if he were bad at it, he was intentionally using a non-dominant hand
The Frontman is Left Handed. He started out throwing right handed every time and he failed. The one time he threw left handed he got it immediately.
