Dr.David Yonggi Cho shares How he visited Mobile, Alabama in 1991 and later Seattle Washington. During that time, he asked God if He was going to send another revival to America. The Holy Spirit told Dr. Cho that he was going to send a revival to Pensacola, Florida but the Lord did not tell him when the revival would begin. He announced to the people what the Lord had told him and then 1992 came, no revival. 1993 came, no revival. He was concerned that he would be labeled a false prophet and then on Father’s Day, 1995 a revival broke out in Pensacola, Florida that a burned white hot for the next 5 years. (Anita and I were blessed to be able to attend hundreds of those revival meetings!)
When Dr. Cho was asked what the secret of his success is, he said, “It is very simple, I pray and I obey!” One of the most experienced and powerful intercessors of the last century, he disciplined himself to pray 2-3+ hours every day.
He began his church with just 5 people, preaching in an old U.S. Military tent. From such humble beginnings, his congregation grew to become the largest church in the world.
Dr. Cho and the Korean Christians have had ongoing revival for decades!
South Korea is a nation rich with prayer warriors! Before sunrise, every morning, churches fill with praying believers.
My wife and I lived in South Korea in 1979 and 1980. The nation, still impoverished as a result of the Korean Conflict of the 1950s and from the Japanese occupation prior to that war, was still emerging from 3rd world country conditions.
While I was a Chaplain’s Assistant, we had the privilege of attending Yoido Full Gospel Church when I would have a Sunday off from my duties. What we saw and experienced among South Korean Christians, most notably their love and faith in corporate prayer changed our lives forever.
If it were not for the faithful, fervent prayers of these praying Christians, South Korea might now be under the oppressive rule of North Korea and/or China. The entire Orient, and the World would look much differently, much darker today if not for the powerful, consistent, faithful, selfless prayings of these South Korean Christians.
If you love fellowshipping with God in Prayer, wish to learn how to pray more effectively, and want to see your nation changed, this video will be a great blessing to you! Someone once said, You will never be greater than your prayer life. There are no shortcuts to being a great man or woman of God.
Matthew 6:33 is true! Seek first the Kingdom of God and all these things will be added to you.
Look at the life of any great man or woman of God; if you look close enough, you will find a person with a great prayer life. Though the Devil, the world, and sometimes your own mind will try and convince you that prayer is a waste of time, South Korea has proven it is not.
How has South Korea impacted the world?
From the perspective of world missions alone, it has been reported that Korea has sent out 27,436 Korean missionaries from various denominations, who are serving in 170 countries. This is very astounding considering the fact that just 60 years ago the entire nation had been raped, plundered, pillaged, and plunged into dire poverty. It has been said that there were few trees left after the occupation and the war, and economic struggle was a daily challenge.
Currently, Wikipedia says this about South Korea;
South Korea is a highly developed country and the world's 11th largest economy by nominal GDP.
Its citizens enjoy the world's fastest Internet connection speeds and the longest years of tertiary education in the world, along with the world's second most equal access to quality healthcare, resulting in the third highest health adjusted life expectancy in the world. South Korea is a global leader in many technology and innovation driven fields, being the world's 5th largest exporter and 8th largest importer. Since 2014, South Korea has been named the world's most innovative country by the Bloomberg Innovation Index for 6 consecutive years.
What has made the difference? What made this change?
What could transform a small nation, smaller than Florida, so devastated, so destroyed, so downcast and so helpless and turn it into the model of what a blessed nation looks like for all the world to see?
The common denominators of this amazing phenomenon are the rising growth of Christianity, faith and prayer.
South Korea is an example of what God can do in a nation when Christians practice 2 Chronicles 7:14.
It is about a Nation soaring to the heights of prominence in a single generation through the rise of Christianity and the disciplines of faithful, consistent, faith-filled obedience and prayer lived out by a pastor and believers in a small, but significantly powerful and tremendously influential country.

I was there at Brownsville when he preached this! We moved there to attend the Brownsville Revival School of Ministry in 1998. It was a life changing experience!

I often heard about Pastor Cho’s Church in Korea and the magnitude of it but this is the first time I saw him and heard him preach. What a man of God. Totally committed to his divine calling humbling and totally yielding himself to God and to the divine empowerment of the. Holy Spirit. May we all who are seeking our purpose in life and desire to serve God, hear from the Holy Spirit and receive insight on how to live our lives for God’s honor and glory. Amen!

Pastor cho speaks out of a depth of wisdom and experience ,very honest and relatable. I love the ministry of Dr Cho, he epitomizes what it means to be a godly man, a man of deep prayer who lived out sanctification .A minister who walked in holiness and in the fear of the Lord and kept humble spirit. ,A man who loved people greatly . Beautiful pure unfeigned love is seen in the gracious words that flow from his mouth . O to have that kind of mantle that is pure and humble so much like Christ who ministered just like that.

This awesome! One of the all time best messages I've ever heard. I'm not sure of the identity, but ironically, when Pastor Cho was speaking about sanctification. The camera angle showed someone who looked like Dr. Ravi Zacharias sitting in the front row. I still love and miss that guy. Whether it was him or not, the same sanctification failure brought down the strongest man in the world, the wisest man in the world and the man who's heart was most like God's. Sanctification is pivotal to the glory of God and the shame for every man amongst us.

You must now be filled with the Holy Spirit.
Jesus told His disciples to go into all the world and preach the gospel, to teach them and to make disciples. He knew that the disciples would be ineffective without the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
John the Baptist, Jesus, Peter, Paul and the disciples all preached about this powerful experience. It is not an add on for the Christian it is a necessity if you want to have a powerful effective life and ministry. Some teach that this experience is not for today but that is not what the bible teaches.
Peter said on the day of Pentecost that the promise was to all even as many as the Lord our God Calls. Jesus said if you ask the Father for a fish you won’t get a snake, if you ask Him for bread, He won’t give you a rock and if you ask for the Holy Spirit the Father will not give you a demonic Spirit.
Don’t be cheated or deceived by those who twist God’s word and tell you this experience of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in Tongues is not for you or for today.
Ask the Father to fill you and baptize you in His Holy Spirit and He will do it!
Please let us know if you gave your life to Jesus or received the Baptism in the Holy Spirit!
