That’s kind of the point. He’s not the “hey guys, I’m funny, will you pls laugh” character like almost every character was on iCarly. He was the “oh wow, how hillarious” or the “laugh already, I don’t have all day” character, which makes him stand out among everyone else.

Spencer was mainly supposed to be the funny one, without trying to be funny.
Sams snarky remarks immediately made her funny.
Freddie was chill but he was so triggered in the first seasons which was funny asl, I do feel like he got more boring and brain dead at like season 4 (like the whole seddie arc where he started liking sam without an explanation)
Gibby was supposed to be funny and he’s so many fans favorite character.
And carlys the main character and pretty much was supposed to be chill

I really respect that Nathan Kress is lowkey fire at remembering his script lines from years ago.
Nathan said he was a really bad dancer, that one episode of icarly called “idreamofdance” begs to differ.

His dream dance was the worst not because of the way Freddie danced but tone, theme/genre was confusing and unfitting. The other ones were actually coherent and quick to understand

yeah its in the whole first season i noticed them all the time. the only time he wore different shoes was for those awful tech shoes.

Idk bout you guys, but this interview is awesome, like there’s no awkwardness between the guy who interviews Nathan, and Nathan to the guy who interviews him, it’s like they are friends, and the editing of the video, it’s hilarious! Made me laugh a lot
The guy interviewing Nathan is Anthony Padilla!!!! He and Ian Hecox created smosh on UA-cam and has his own channel where he does Day in the Life interviews after he left smosh in 2017.

I really enjoyed this interview. He was so funny. I love hearing people talk about their experiences because it’s so easy to just see people as celebrities and as their characters and stuff like this helps give a glimpse of who they are. I loved the way he talked about those people waiting hours for autographs. It really doesn’t make sense 😂
