He is explaining the strategy very well. Maybe the best explanation of the strategy of the Cubitus. And I like the shape but I know I will never own one. It easy to hate if you will never own one or will be able to own one.
i'm not a gen z.. in the late 40s .. but my heart goes to the two tones.. strike me well with the design... hmmm.. good content as usual bro nico.. keep it up!
Same here, late 40s, prefer two tones, and still working toward owning one. (nah, just kidding, would rather buy a nice car or two instead of an expensive watch)
You're just a parrot. How can this be ugly yet you recommend still spending thousands on a Santos, which is exactly the same aesthetic? You could argue that recommendation based on price, but not if you think the watch is ugly.
@@OngoGablogian185 It’s ugly, and that’s my opinion. If you think it’s beautiful, go buy it and enjoy. I’ll stick with the Santos, better looking and costs less. As for the “parrot” comment, I didn’t realize some may be that desperate to get a reaction.
I would argue the Santos is a better watch, more robust movement, quick release links, 7 year warranty. And you can buy them and not brown bag cash like this dealer.
Not an expert about pronunciations but aluminum is pronounced and spelled aluminium in British English. Maybe platinum is the same? I don’t know but this would be my guess
I think bro had a great point. I’ve heard so many stories about how Patek couldn’t give away the Nautilus. Same thing with the Aquanaut. No one wanted them, and they used to be relationship builders for high complication dress watches at Patek. I can see how this watch might be meant for a generation of collector that hasn’t arrived yet. I will say that it’s growing on me and there’s plenty of time for the watch to get its own unique identity, with a different bracelet and more refined shape
This guy is great, the watch is a funny shape haha, also I am more of a Lange guy myself but great conversation. If I ever visit I would love to talk watches with this guy he really loves watches
Good Video and valid points. BUT keep in mind, that basically every model from Patek except of nautilus, cubitus and aquanaut are selling strongly below msrp. So: No, even Patek can’t control the market in the way described in this video. It’s definitely not like every model is popular or even only easy to sell. All of their dress watches sell well below mspr. This is not a bad thing, per se, but it is worth noticing.
To be honest: The watch looks ugly. I generally like square wristwatches but in this case the wide "ears" on the left and right destroy the entire look. The watch looks really out of proportion. I like the Cartier Santos much, much more (I own the DLC bezel version) . Patek needs to release an improved 2.0 version :D
i don't care what people think, i like Cubitus .. in fact, i'd love Patek to release watches in rectangular shape too that looks like Tank and Reverso.

Sales tactic for this watch - The future generations might like it, give me your money bro. 🎉
Thank you for bringing this. Khalid is super friendly and amazing!

Man, Khaled has some style.... the model Bentley Brooklands behind him shows something. Very rare...
It’s an ugly watch…get a santos for a fraction of the retail price and its more beautiful and more iconic. In my humble opinion

@@thewatchguyinc.7429 Bro, Patek is meant for CEO's and 1% Elites; it's not for peasants and commoners

Yea it used to be a lot more affordable too, got my 5711 with a 15% discount
@ if only I was interested in watches back then! I was very young at that time
@@SpookyConcepts mind you the MSRP for the Nautilus was also very low back then, after taxes and such I paid around 15k usd for the watch.

That guy with the Purple AP cap, Where can I get this ?
Now we need a Tiffany version of Cubitus as well 👀💗💎
Cubitus looks like Mr Sterns head to be honest.

what is mspr
@ „manufacturer's suggested retail price“, so basically another word for “list price”.
it is beautiful, I love the two tones 😊
Khalid, habibi, you are the only guy in the world who sees that square watches wear smaller on the wrist than round watches 😂
great interview - more with this guy please.
Very nice 👌 👍
Please just make the watch head smaller and thinner, maybe a new bracelet too instead of the Nautilus
I love his AP cap 👍
i personally prefer the twotone goldinium / steelium than the platninium
Love this guy
Thank you for this insightful video, finally someone who knows what he says 😊

When you used to an iconic shape of something for awhile it is very hard to accept the new thing.i really think i prefer the old iconic shape
Contrary to popular opinion, I really like the cubitus.
patek Rube-itus
The two-tone steel and platinum Patek Cubitus is breathtaking! 😍
Cheap noise of the box during opening at the beginning of the video...
Looks like ppl dont care about passion anymore, first day out in store -> straight to 2nd hand dealers lmao
I got the green Cubitus from my dealer - people can hate it as much as they like so good luck getting one I guess
You can keep it you don’t impress anyone with it 😂
It’s not for me. But if you want to buy it, I would wait until prices come down
Even given for free I would just flip it at any cost people without taste will only buy it because of the name on it
what a piece of garbage. the ceo too.
It's hideous
If they got rid of the round subdials and had a big date it would look ok
I actualy love the patek philip cubitus. And normaly i dislike square watches.
Correct the price .. its USD 88,380 .. not 150,000
Circular movement in square watch. Incredibly lazy bs
for me the most beautiful watch ever is the Nautilus 5712 in steel… it should go out of production and its value is destined to increase
Imagine, back then 37mm is consider jumbo, imagine next time, 45mm is no longer a jumbo lol
Luxury Souq have the worst customer service I gave ever experienced.
Avoid Avoid Avoid.
No matter what a brand does, people will complain. And the watches will sell.
😅
The worst watch Patek had ever made
It’s a Marmite watch..
He's not exactly going to shit on the watches he has purchased and wants to sell on is he...
I hated it at first , but it’s growing on me
Cubitus is gorgeous ❤
Golds worth more than Plateenum now 😂
That watch is hot garbage.
Mk band and case worth billions in the, hundreds.
Yuck.... the Uglytus
The designer must be from cartier.
G8 mate
😊👍
Patek copying cartier😂😂😂😂
This is all so tacky.
People venerate this stupid watch because it bears a name.
The left side is out of shape
The Two Tone and Platinum are absolute fire. Much better looking to me than the Nautilus.

Why would you ‘love’ that?
Inguardabile
This watch is for the new genatation of millionars, young and dont care how they spend. But on the wrist it looks to big.

Ferrari SF80 and this watch are a perfect match
Arbitrarily rare useless item that’ll impress those of your friends that are almost as shallow as you are. Pls buy.

nautilus still better
