- caribbeaninsighttv.com Virtual Museum is a collection of cultural documentaries demonstrating the history of West Indians. Paul Keens-Douglas was born in Trinidad and grew up in Grenada. He has been writing and performing since 1974. He found his niche in storytelling when Louise Bennett gave workshops around the Caribbean and encouraged everyone to not only write poems in standard English but to write in their dialect. Paul took up the challenge and has delighted audiences over the years with his poems and short stories

I still have one of his LPs with Tanty Maude going to the oval. I lent it out once and it came back scratched so I never lent out rwcords after that. I wonder if he has recent CDs.

Trinidadian born Paul Keens Douglas grew up in Grenada. His career goes back to the mid 1970s', around 1975-1976- the days of Caroni Ltd (1975) & 1976 when Trinidad reached Republic status- three (3) branches of government- legislative (law), judicial (the courts) & executive (prime minister, president....) Some of his best stories include Tanti At De (The) Oval (1976), Party Nice, Banza- Fiedon's Flute (1982), Tell Me Again. His material is available free on UA-cam- most of the CDs are digital (powered, processed by UA-cam- auto generated).
