Did you go to Charlotte Pass? We went there in April, no snow yet but the view was magnificent.

I don't live in the snow but I hear that frostbite sets in pretty fast so you might want to make sure that you are dressed appropriately when you are outside for long periods of time.

They’re just humans like you are . If you talk to them they will also talk to you . FYI if you have the time - which you have on your days off . Watch videos / research on how to prepare for bad weather situations and have an emergency kit in your vehicle just in case you get stuck in bad weather. Relax and you will be alright . Robbie, like what I commented previously overcome your “shyness”, the sooner the better for you now that you are traveling further away from your comfort zone. And one more thing, don’t take wintery areas for granted for the weather could be very very harsh to travelers particularly when they are ill prepared.

I'm in Canada. I still haven't decided how to go about surviving in a car through winter, or summer for that matter. It's one thing to build a vehicle for leisure on campgrounds, and quite another to build for stealth. The latter is my plan. Very difficult to decide how to choose a climate control system. I have a short wheelbase vehicle like yours.

Next time, you don't have to be shy joining with people sitting in a restaurant. They're not talking about you, they're drinking coffee or having snacks & talking to themselves. Same as you, don't mind them too, You're English is better than most Filipinos. Conquer your shyness, if not now then when?
Easy to say when you don’t have social anxiety.
One of my kids has social anxiety/depression. He takes medicine and sees a therapist and psychiatrist. It’s not as easy as you think.
Din’t do that.you will freeze..now it is also dangerous to let your heater in the car run while the windows are close…you will Be poisoned…..
You can hire ski clothing over there.. and that pub looked so cosy, sad that your social anxiety prevented you from dining in for a nice warm meal, you must have been freezing!
Ill do that next time..with rides ands ski.
