The most realistic show I ever witnessed and made me depressed for a week on discovery how cold/toxic the real world is. Yes just a show not real but how it was put together it felt so real.

This defines my exact feelings right now. Long time Nana Fan and I could always see myself in her and to believe that years later my own life turned out to feel like hers, life is really funny.. my impossible love interest is literally a rocker called Ren and my Hachi with whom I am always in contact but from just far away is definetly married now to someone like Takumi lol and I am beyond happy for her. Chronic illness has made it hard for me to keep fighting everyday and still be smiling, the loneliness it has brought is hard, just like for Nana whatever was thrown at me I have faced bravely hurting inside but always with humour and a smile to never discourage my peers. But it is too rough now.. God I'd always wished the mangaka had finished the story. It is surely a coincidence but I would always find relief in relating to my all time fav character Nana

Nana has still a very strong plot and soundtrack compared to the majority of the anime tho. Only Jujutsu Kaisen and Demon Slayer comes almost close to Nana (despite not being realistic like Nana but whetever,they are both great)
Many people lost site of the beauty in a well written and crisp shoujo. Now, it’s really just action and some characters that can fight. Which I am not judging, I’d be lying if I said I don’t rewatch Bleach, Yu Yu Hakusho, Neon Genesis, and Naruto. But, if we’re being real, anime is typically associated with pre-teen to young adult guys. And typically, those guys will watch the worst action anime that’s probably 4 or 5 years old and dub it as greatness compared to NANA or really any shoujo that comes off as “girly, emotional, sensitive, and cheesy.” There’s a reason why you see more guys posting about Jujustu, Demon Slayer, and Dragon Ball while girls are basically the only ones posting about Fruits Basket, NANA, and Sailor Moon. It’s sad honestly, but not surprising

To me this is one of the few Slice of Life animes that encompass real life struggles. We can't find flaws in the actions of the characters because they give the irl feeling which is hard to interpret from the perspective of the observer. I can talk to anyone abut what makes me sad or happy but i cant expect that other person to feel the same and vice versa. So i think it is a really complete anime. Too bad for the inconclusive ending but what can you do? Answer: read the rest of the manga.

I love the ending of the manga as much as I hate it, since the mangaka is on a hiatus break since 2009 for her health, this story didn't got its deserved ending but in a way we can take it as a open ending and think anything since the last few pages are in a slide between their past and future implying their still trap in their past which they can't break free from even if they wanted to. But the thing about Hachi and Takumi's kids whom are Ren (they named their first child after Honjo Ren) and Satsuki, Satsuki is for sure their child but its kinda confusing for Ren's case and why Hachi wants a divorce and where is Nana right now and if that blond haired girl is the actual Nana or not
I hate the fact that we never get to see the ending just breaks me thanks to Japan's shitty anonymity we can't even contact to yazawa San idk I really feel sad it is a great series

Es algo peligroso, esta en nuestro corazón y en nosotros en sentir de quien nos enamoramos, hay que tener cuidado con el amor.. Ojalá sea correspondido.
I love the ending of the manga as much as I hate it, since the mangaka is on a hiatus break since 2009 for her health, this story didn't got its deserved ending but in a way we can take it as a open ending and think anything since the last few pages are in a slide between their past and future implying their still trap in their past which they can't break free from even if they wanted to. But the thing about Hachi and Takumi's kids whom are Ren (they named their first child after Honjo Ren) and Satsuki, Satsuki is for sure their child but its kinda confusing for Ren's case and why Hachi wants a divorce and where is Nana right now and if that blond haired girl is the actual Nana or not
I hate the fact that we never get to see the ending just breaks me thanks to Japan's shitty anonymity we can't even contact to yazawa San idk I really feel sad it is a great series
