True story! My first hoa meeting when I lived in a townhouse 20 years ago had 120 residents attending. The president got into a screaming match with another home owner over a boat in home owners car port that lasted 20 min and ended with the president walking out. The next day the home owners boat was on fire.

My next door neighbor Gertrude is the real life Ms. Bendersnatch. Shes been living at this complex for 22 years and she polices everyone. She watches everything people do and if she see your do something she doesn't like she reports you to the management. The first week I was here I hadn't even spoken to her and she had already tried to get me in trouble with the manager 3 times. Last year she reported me for playing my bass guitar in the middle of the night which I've never done anywhere I've lived. I told the manager is was bullshit that if I had done that other tenants would have complained. She still gave me a lease violation for it. I hate people who can't mind their own buisness.
I now have something to blast when my neighbors call the cops when I'm trying to practice the drums but jokes on them because I live in county haha no noise ordinance hahahahahahahahaha

i had a neighbor like this, called the police on me for using a mitter saw in my garage....i was making a bed frame... She complained to me at my Grandmothers funeral about my truck. it was amazing.

The HOA part is the part I hate about the Neighborhood...only neighbor the one I hate is the one that doesn't do shit to their yard. HE NEVER DOES ANYTHING! I even offered to mow and weed it for them. Also, Talked to my Neighbor cross from me. He hates the HOA just as much as my wife and I do and the Same guy who doesn't do shit to their lawn. He's like Poor (Name Redacted) dealing with that Neighbor again.

yea... In My case am maybe possibly one of those neighbors who would complain about someone's lawned not being maintained. It does make our HOA look bad. Then again getting sued Three times for "Not paying" the dues even those we did.
