    |Welcome to our kitchen! Today, we're sharing a beloved traditional Pakistani breakfast recipe: Halwa Puri with Bhaji. This mouth-watering combination is a weekend favorite, perfect for family gatherings and special occasions. Follow along to learn how to make this delightful and satisfying meal from scratch.
    Ingredients:
    For Puri:
    1.5 cups all-purpose flour
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon yogurt
    Water (as needed)
    Oil (for frying)
    For Halwa:
    2 cup semolina (sooji)
    2 cup ghee (clarified butter)
    2 cup sugar
    6 cup water
    1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder or 5-6 Cardimoms
    Chopped nuts for garnish (optional)
    For Bhaji:
    2 cups boiled and mashed chana
    2 potatoes
    2 large onion, finely chopped
    1.5 tsp ginger paste 5-6 garlic cloves
    1 tomatoes, chopped
    1/2 cup yogurt
    2 green chilies, chopped ( optional)
    1 teaspoon cumin seeds
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
    1 teaspoon red chili powder
    1 teaspoon coriander powder
    1/2 teaspoon garam masala
    Salt to taste
    Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
    Instructions:
    Puri:
    In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, and yogurt. Gradually add water to form a soft dough.
    Knead the dough for a few minutes until smooth. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.
    Divide the dough into small balls and roll each one into a thin circle.
    Heat oil in a deep frying pan. Fry each puri until golden brown and puffed up. Drain on paper towels.
    Halwa:
    In a pan, heat the ghee, add cadimom and then add the semolina. Roast until golden brown and aromatic.
    Add water and sugar and cook it until semolina starts to thicken.
    Add some nuts cook it for more 3-4 minutes.
    Turn the flame off and then add few drops of kewra.
    Bhaji:
    In pressure cooker add oil and onion, then add red chilli powder and saute it.
    Then add all the spices ginger garlic and water and cook it in pressure cooker for 10 miutes.
    Then fry the masala add tomato and yogurt paste , cook it until oil comes over.
    Add potatoes and cook it until they starts softening. Then add boiled chana and cook it for few more minutes.
    Garnish it with kalonji and kasuri meethi.
    Serving:
    Serve the hot puris with halwa and bhaji. Enjoy this delectable meal with your family and friends!
