I have the govee aura lite and I think the bars would be a great addition to my tv which one should I get the one with the camera or without because I do think it be nice to have them match but it isn't a need for me
Hey, thanks so much for checking out my video! If you are looking for an immersive experience with your TV, I would actually suggest Govee's DreamView T1 instead. It's a lightstrip instead of light bars so will go all the way around your TV and also comes with a camera to match the colors on screen. I've used it for a long time on my main TV and really enjoy it 😊
@@TechBeard hmm I saw them the price is kinda high tho I picked the bars because I can move them from place to place and hopefully will get a pc in a few years to use them with I think I decided on the flow plus ,)
I'm thinking of getting these, but I need to know: How long is the USB C cable that goes from the control unit to the lights? I realize both lights are connected to the control unit, so how long is the USB C cable BEFORE it splits into two (and connects to the lights) and how long is the cable AFTER the split (and connects to the lights)??? Cheers for any info.
Hey! So the cable from the control box to where it splits is only about 6 inches, but once it splits, that going to the light bar is roughly 6 feet so you have a decent length to work with. Hope that helps! 😁
Thanks so much for watching! The left one stays on really well, but I've noticed that the right one is starting to come off on the curved part. I may need to slightly adjust that one at some point in the future, but it works for now. Honestly, if both were the same price, I would go with the one with the camera. That way you have the option to have the immersion if you want it 😊

Or anyone who reads this comment: I have a 49-inch curved monitor, I understand that the camera can be placed above or below the monitor, now my question is if there is the possibility of moving the camera a little further of the screen in such a way that I can see the width of the monitor or is it only suitable for flat monitors, I would really like to buy this product for the evaluations it offers, or if on the contrary is there another system that I can use to obtain the same functions of this system. Thanks
Thanks so much for watching my video! I wouldn't recommend moving the camera off center and realistically this isn't meant to be used on a monitor this size. I'm not sure there is a perfect product to be used on a 49" curved monitor currently, but this does do the job

I don't remember on which website I saw a video where they placed the camera 1 or 2 inches away from the screen and it worked but of course they placed the calibration sponges more or less the size of a 55-inch flat panel monitor. For tomorrow I plan to receive my order, I will try to do the same, otherwise I will install it in my living room. May you and yours be very well
@@gregoriomonsalve6284 oh very interesting! I don't see why that wouldn't work, I just don't have any hands on experience with that, but might be worth trying 😊
I just got these lights recently, the version without the camera. For the most part I like them. My personal cons would be that the white settings aren't the best. This does have full White Range but you cannot save the temperature of white to a scene without it defaulting back to a color. My other con is that if you have a PC monitor mount, similar to the one it looks like you have. Some of the colors can be blocked by this mount. Other than that this is a really nice product.
I agree with you on the white light, it tends to lean a little on the purple side. Not exactly sure what you mean with the other issue you're having with the mount blocking some light, the light part of the bar should be facing the opposite direction as the mount you slide it into

How well does your bars stick to to the back your your monitor cause it looks pretty curved. If the price was the same what would you buy?

So if you play a game, they pulsate and do colors? example DBZ battle...you see the bars going insane?

The lights got a major update now they show independent colors in camera mode. Just update your app!
Cellphone clip on ND fiter will fix that issue with the color accuracy.
