I can't agree with you more. I cannot stop watching this performance and she is such an endearing person, not only talented but just lovable. I wish her the absolute best and she needs to in the West End.
I love here voice and personality so much, She has a perfect interpretation of the lyric of a song. You can feel the emotion, and I love she takes sometimes the belting to a quiet lever. What makes it more emotional. An own voice with sounds like a combination of Shirley Bassey, Judy Garland, Liza Minelli and Barbra Streisand. She has one of the best voices ever blend together, Amazing performer. I am a big fan. Love from the Netherlands.
If she listens to my advice, no more musical theatre for her---18 years of auditions are quite enough. Her failure there is our gain here because she is destined for the concert stage, a la Dion and Streisand. Her musical theatre training will stand her in good stead in concert as she "performs" her songs, but in concert, her buoyant personality (which you didn't include at the start of the video) will so enhance her astounding voice that she will rapidly become an international sensation. No room in musical theater for either one of these, certainly not both.
She works at the gym but she did say she wants to get into the West End. So she wants to be in theater as an actress, she's perfect for musicals. She moved to London from Kent likely to pursue this dream. The gym receptionist job is to keep her fed while working to get into the West End. This is one step closer to it for sure.
This is actually Marisha Wallace’s version, as a fund raiser, from 3 years ago during the pandemic and all the theatres were closed. I prefer Sydnie’s voice though. It has hints of Judy Garland
In over the years BGT there's only been 1 female winner that is Ashley and Pugsley the rest that won have been almost male so maybe Sydnie could be the second female.
BGT don’t always show the whole songs. AGT does do whole songs also. Check out the AGT super league 2024 (called something like that) Loren Allred Never Enough new rendition performance was shown in full. recently

So interesting that they played Over The Rainbow, sung by Loren Allred, who also got a Golden Buzzer from Amanda on BGT 2022. But this girl is pretty much a complete unknown, whereas Loren was known as the voice behind Never Enough to some people
