Ksenja, I was so happy to see this video! I discovered Dossier through Walmart. They have 5 scents that they carry on site. I bought the dupes for Black Opium, Flower Bomb, and Good Girl. I am so impressed. I immediately went out and bought travel sizes in the og's. Good Girl, I found spot on. FlowerBomb's opening notes faded more quickly in the Dossier. But other than that I think they are the same. The Dossier version of Opium was a teensy bit less coffee. But I bought the green illicit of the og flanker in travel size to freshen up. All those Opiums smell kind of the same to me. I'm definitely buying more Dossier! Another plus is they give reccomendations of layering 2 scents. So I took their advice and layered the Black Opium and Flower Bomb. My husband was all over that! 😆
I got 6 Dossier on a Cyber Monday sale. I got the dupes of Peony & Blush Suede Miss Dior 2017 Voce Viva Libre Flowerbomb Coco Mademoiselle I have the OG of Libre and it is spot on the same. I love the Miss Dior one and I have to agree that I smell a slight popcorn note. They are all great. Hoping to get a few more.
@@Me_me-y6k yes they do! The Voce Viva one is light, but I'm pretty sure the OG is too. I could just be anosmic to it. But I get 4 to 6 hours out of 1 spritz on each wrist with the others. That's what I get on most of my others in my collection as well.

@jennydemars1569 Any tips for a white floral and mature gourmand lover? Sexy, sweet, a little mature but not that powdery, pencil shaving, old makeup stuff (brrrr). A few of my favourite notes: Jasmine, Orangeblossom, Plum, Raspberry, Cherry (all dark, reddish fruits basically), Honey, Honeysuckle, Peony, a luscious red Rose, Pink pepper and great base notes are Vanilla, Tonkabean, Amber(gris), Caramel, Vetiver, Mahogany, Praliné, Sandalwood. I don't mind boozy notes. No good: cardamom, coriander, leather, suède and strong oud. I'm not into clean Girl, laundry, shampoo and citrusy fragrances. The only citrus notes, when in the top, that work for me are Bergamot, Mandarin (blossom) and the likes. Thanks if you have any tips!

So far I love dossier! I bought the love don't be shy dupe,and the miss Dior 2017 dupe for my mom's birthday. She loved them, they last pretty long on her especially the Kilian dupe. I got the lady 1 million dupe for me, I've never smelled the original, it smelled nice but didn't last very long on me and a bit too grown for my taste so I exchanged it for the bright crystal dupe. Haven't gotten it yet but I'm hoping it will last longer than the original bright crystal because I love the scent so much.

I frickin' love this brand. The fact that I can buy a ton of perfume for the price of one niche fragrance is amazing. (I have respect for the perfumers but right now...the price point is way, way too high for my bank account.) So far, they have been spot on with the originals, in my opinion!
The 2017 Miss Dior Cherie is a reformulated version of the original 2007 Miss Dior Cherie. Although it smells nice, it smells nothing like Cherie 2007. DUA has a SPOT ON dupe for the 2007 Cherie called Miss Class. Trust me, I know this bc I had the original and I literally researched Miss Dior and the flankers due to me trying to buy the 2007 version - and failing bc the few that’s out there is going for $300!
Dossier lasts all day on me with great sillage and projection...I have ten fragrances from them... And I agree with the person that mentioned Dapper... They are amazing performers and the selection is phenomenal!

The 2017 version of miss Dior is my absolute favorite. When I heard it was being discontinued, I bought a FIVE OUNCE bottle on mercari 🤯 didn’t even know that size was sold lol. Even though it’ll last me forever, I’ve still been holding onto it and only using it sparingly. It’s so good! By the way, Cherie is the older version of the perfume that has the popcorn note. I never tried it but I think it’s from the early 2000s.

You won’t regret buying from Dossier! I ordered 1/27/2023 and received my order today 1/4/2023! Kinda long on shipping, but worth the wait! I picked up 6 fragrances (5 blind buys!!) and they are all AMAZING! The lasting power is there too. I sprayed their Ambery Saffron on this morning and it’s now almost 8 pm and I’m still smelling this wonderful scent on myself. It’s their dupe of Baccarat Rouge 540 and it’s just the IT fragrance for me from now on. Citrus Green apple is amazing and smells just like Light Blue by D&G and honestly I’d say better than light blue and stronger, in a good way! I’m already adding more perfume to my cart! I’m wanting their Le Labo dupes now because supposedly woody sandalwood is a perfect dupe for Sandal 33. I’m dying to try it now that I know this is a quality dupe company made in France 🙏😍legit actually kinda excited for work Monday so that I can try one of my new scents and see if the compliments stack up! 😂I only wish Dossier had more options!
@@cugglymonster Thank you for all that. I was intrigued by Sandal 33, too. I'm the one who wore straight sandalwood oil for a few days & then switched to patchouli oil, sometimes with Jovan musk. I'm very curious about saffron scents, love the flavor but the smell is usually masked by other spices. Shipping is reasonable considering the lack of long haul truckers and shipping flights.
*OMG KSENJA. You've got to try Tobacco &Tonka Bean by Banana Republic! I found it at Burlington for $23 and I cannot believe it is so inexpensive... I thought for sure it had to be expired, or something but I checked and it was only 2 months old. You will LOVE IT. It's definitely a skin scent but it lasts really well. Also, I don't know if you've tried any Commodity fragrances yet but Milk+ (bold) is really beautiful, too. At first, I hated it but after I wore it 3 or 4 times I figured out that, nope, it's actually beautifully sweet and complex and SEXY. Both of these fragrances are warm, cozy, sweet and SEXY AF. You (and your husband) will be very happy.* 😚💜🤟🏻
I bought Floral Marshmallow (LDBS), Floral Lavender (Libré dupe), AMBERY Vanilla (Black Opium dupe) and I was thinking about Santa 33 dupe but was afraid it would smell like pickles, so I didn't get it. I don't know which note it is that smells like pickles (Ariana Grande uses it in her fragrances, too) but I'd love to know!!
I'm really curious about their Beach Walk dupe! I heard it's much better with the added tonka bean but will prob wait til summer since I'm currently waiting on Electric Cherry and Babycat dupes from Dua. I have tried one so can't wait to see how close they are. Next stop Dossier Beach Walk!

I STRONGLY disagree on Floral Berries and the original Peony and Blush Suede smelling “exactly the same.” I actually went and bought the original from Jo Malone after buying Floral Berries from Dossier because it smelled SO DIFFERENT to me :( Peony and Blush Suede smells so lovely and soft and like baby pink, but Floral Berries smells like fermented wine and so screechy to me 😭

@jesskallia9563 Jess, From what I understand you get samples when ordering from their site, meaning you can first try out the 2ml and as long as you keep the original closed you can send it back free of charge and get your money back. I've heard they finally have a Dossier store in our capital (Amsterdam), so I'm praying they'll start a webshop, so I can order that way too (I'm in a wheelchair, so travelling is always a fuss. I'm a blind buy expert 😎 😆). To be honest, I think prices have gone so overboard - especially knowing how much they actually pay for ingredients/ creation and what they tack on to come to the end result price tag. I no longer feel bad about getting dupes. I'm on disability benefits and that means I'm currently not even able to have my CV on, it's become too expensive (and my body actually needs warmth, sigh). So when I get a gift certificate or bday gift I ask for perfume, but always a good dupe, a severely discounted older designer fragrance or - my faves - a fragrance from an Arabian perfume house. Arabic dupes are super interesting: either even better than the original, like some of the Club de Nuit perfumes from Armaf (bc they use the OG as a base and give their own twist) or super close to the real deal (also Armaf or Lattafa, they create the most dupes). On top of that they have their own fragrances. If you like Orientals, Floral perfumes or gourmands you'll be golden. And then they also have a sh*tload of unisex perfumes that can go very woody (oudy), fresh-citrusy or gourmand like. If you're into gourmands I recommend Lattafa Khamrah and Lattafa Pride Nebras. A great dupe for Lost Cherry TF is by Paris Corner Pendora: Pendora Boozy Cherry. If you like florals: Al Wataniah Sabah Al Ward (I almost eat my arm, because it also has gourmand notes), Lattafa Fakhar, Ard Al Zaafaran - Jazzab Gold (like a fresh, creamy version of Tresor La Nuit), Afnan-Modest Deux Pour Femme (another one inspired by the Tresor, but much fruitier and without the incense. It's in the same vibe, definitely not a dupe), Asdaaf - Andaleeb, Ard Al Zaafaran- Dirham Wardi or Lattafa Velvet Rose. Oriental & tropical: Ard Al Zaafaran - Romancea (tr) and Lattafa- Raghba (woody vanilla). If you like Oud then you will have so many to choose from. Unfortunately the stronger oud is just not my thing. It is revolting on my skin chemistry. But if it works for you, a few very popular ones with quality (Oud fragrances can last forever): Lattafa - Opulent Red, Lattafa - Bade'e Al Oud Amethyst, Al Haramain - Shaghaf Oud, Lattafa - Oud Mood (a whole line). Oh, and two great dupe tips as the last, but not least: Dior Ambre Nuit is great but unaffordable. Paris Corner created Amber Night in their PriveZarah line. You pay a tad more than the average of €20-25, but it's so sexy! Also great to layer with fragrances that have Amber in the base and need more strength. On clothes it lasts for days, on skin a workday (and I usually can't get further than 3hrs). Then Parfum Parlour, residing in the UK, but created in the Emirates. They make a lot of spot on dupes, but one of their most lauded ones is Parfum Parlour - External Extrait (60ml). Get the Extrait!! It's the strongest. Oh and it dupes OG Alien. Because they had to take out the ambergris and switched that for Patchouli they lost a bit of 100% similarity and strength (if you don't like strength, that might be to your liking), but it is the best, smoothest dupe of Mugler - Alien I've tried so far. Ajmal - Sacrifice for her is often named, but the lately my skin pulls Patchouli really really strong, so it is too earthy for me. But still not a bad fragrance, especially if your skin chemistry likes patch, as my skin used to do before. PS. The Khamrah and Pride line fragrances from Lattafa are a bit more expensive since they're a niche line or super hyped up on UA-cam (Khamrah). If you can get samples always do so, especially with the oudy ones. The Ard Al Zaafaran oud fragrances are actually much softer, sweeter, nice woody. Except for Raghba by Lattafa theirs are the only Oud perfumes I've been able to wear AND like. I hope I helped giving you great tips for an affordable collection if Dossier doesn't work out: smelling amazing for a normal price. 😀
Because Dossier tweaks each dupe to put their own spin on it, they added berries in the top note. The original Jo Malone only has apple in the top note, so you get to the floral notes much quicker. That’s probably why it felt like wine to you. My experience has been that after the dry down, they get pretty similar. But the addition of berries can be cloying in my opinion.
I hated the Killian love don’t be shy dupe but I didn’t know about the risk free guarantee until about six months had gone by, it was sad. I gave it away but it’s always going to bum me out a little bit that I didn’t get my money back!
Go for decaf coffee instead. I love the taste of coffee and not the caffeine. If I can get a decaf version of a drink that's what I go for. Maybe do a coffee review!? I think if you tried the chamberlain coffees and reviewed them it would go great. Especially since I wanna try them, but they're not exactly at the store. 😀
Amber Cherry the only thing I smell is a strong cinnamon. If i tell myself I smelled cherry,, I can smell just a tiny hint of it. Now, it may just be me, because my husband says he smells cherry, but I sadly I don't. I was hoping to smell like a maraschino cherry.
I just tried them during Black Friday sale. Got two sents. I want to exchange one. They want to charge me extra for it even though it’s an even exchange. Their customer service so far was unable to answer my questions. I tried creat8 g an account with them in hopes of getting a live chat (is there one?). I can’t created an account because it says there is one already. When I try t9 log in it says account doesn’t exist. I’m so fed up. Just know you could have problem with exchanges.
jo malone colognes smell so good but yeah they are colognes not parfums sadly hence doesnt lasts that long with its price point too! hopefully the dossier parfum dupes works one me!
Dua fragrances! Literally spot on. And they're extrait so they last forever! I'm obsessed with angels share and duas version is identical and great for touch ups
Dossier is more than a miss than a hit, in my experience BUT they let you return them back which is a very nice thing. The strongest I have from dossier is Spicy Orchid (Tom Ford dupe) and floral Marshmallow the rest I've tried are meh.
No. They are good as far as their dupes go BUT they don't last for sh!t. With the exception of the Chanel No 5 dupe. That one lasts for ever. (If you're into old lady perfumes.)
Hard agree that musky musk smells so close to NAP. I have both and I love using them to layer over more masculine fragrances because they are sweet on me.
I just received Floral Pink Pepper and it smells terrible. I smell zero floral. It's like sharp and smells more like peppery licorice. I have the original Miss Dior Cherie and it's definitely different. Idk how ppl can wear this. Hopefully I can easily exchange this.
I just bought two perfumes from this house last week.. tom ford lost cherry dupe.. and jo Malone woody sage… it’s just a no! I’m easy going but these don’t have the lasting power of even a body mist .. one hour after spraying generously the fragrance was barely there with both… Sent them back today.. just wish they would do better on quality

I do love the fragrance itself.. but for the perfume not to last even as long as a mist wasn’t worth it… I do love their customer service tho… very quick to respond and glad to take returns so that was a relief:) I did purchase a fragrance from juiliannas perfumes house and I was very pleased with that perfume…

I'm very curious about saffron scents, love the flavor but the smell is usually masked by other spices. Shipping is reasonable considering the lack of long haul truckers and shipping flights.
*OMG KSENJA. You've got to try Tobacco &Tonka Bean by Banana Republic! I found it at Burlington for $23 and I cannot believe it is so inexpensive... I thought for sure it had to be expired, or something but I checked and it was only 2 months old. You will LOVE IT. It's definitely a skin scent but it lasts really well. Also, I don't know if you've tried any Commodity fragrances yet but Milk+ (bold) is really beautiful, too. At first, I hated it but after I wore it 3 or 4 times I figured out that, nope, it's actually beautifully sweet and complex and SEXY. Both of these fragrances are warm, cozy, sweet and SEXY AF. You (and your husband) will be very happy.* 😚💜🤟🏻

I bought Floral Marshmallow (LDBS), Floral Lavender (Libré dupe), AMBERY Vanilla (Black Opium dupe) and I was thinking about Santa 33 dupe but was afraid it would smell like pickles, so I didn't get it. I don't know which note it is that smells like pickles (Ariana Grande uses it in her fragrances, too) but I'd love to know!!

I STRONGLY disagree on Floral Berries and the original Peony and Blush Suede smelling “exactly the same.” I actually went and bought the original from Jo Malone after buying Floral Berries from Dossier because it smelled SO DIFFERENT to me :( Peony and Blush Suede smells so lovely and soft and like baby pink, but Floral Berries smells like fermented wine and so screechy to me 😭
Everyone’s sense of smell is way different 🤷🏻♀️

@jesskallia9563 Jess, From what I understand you get samples when ordering from their site, meaning you can first try out the 2ml and as long as you keep the original closed you can send it back free of charge and get your money back.
I've heard they finally have a Dossier store in our capital (Amsterdam), so I'm praying they'll start a webshop, so I can order that way too (I'm in a wheelchair, so travelling is always a fuss. I'm a blind buy expert 😎 😆).
To be honest, I think prices have gone so overboard - especially knowing how much they actually pay for ingredients/ creation and what they tack on to come to the end result price tag. I no longer feel bad about getting dupes. I'm on disability benefits and that means I'm currently not even able to have my CV on, it's become too expensive (and my body actually needs warmth, sigh). So when I get a gift certificate or bday gift I ask for perfume, but always a good dupe, a severely discounted older designer fragrance or - my faves - a fragrance from an Arabian perfume house.
Arabic dupes are super interesting: either even better than the original, like some of the Club de Nuit perfumes from Armaf (bc they use the OG as a base and give their own twist) or super close to the real deal (also Armaf or Lattafa, they create the most dupes). On top of that they have their own fragrances. If you like Orientals, Floral perfumes or gourmands you'll be golden. And then they also have a sh*tload of unisex perfumes that can go very woody (oudy), fresh-citrusy or gourmand like. If you're into gourmands I recommend Lattafa Khamrah and Lattafa Pride Nebras. A great dupe for Lost Cherry TF is by Paris Corner Pendora: Pendora Boozy Cherry.
If you like florals: Al Wataniah Sabah Al Ward (I almost eat my arm, because it also has gourmand notes), Lattafa Fakhar, Ard Al Zaafaran - Jazzab Gold (like a fresh, creamy version of Tresor La Nuit), Afnan-Modest Deux Pour Femme (another one inspired by the Tresor, but much fruitier and without the incense. It's in the same vibe, definitely not a dupe), Asdaaf - Andaleeb, Ard Al Zaafaran- Dirham Wardi or Lattafa Velvet Rose.
Oriental & tropical: Ard Al Zaafaran - Romancea (tr) and Lattafa- Raghba (woody vanilla). If you like Oud then you will have so many to choose from. Unfortunately the stronger oud is just not my thing. It is revolting on my skin chemistry. But if it works for you, a few very popular ones with quality (Oud fragrances can last forever): Lattafa - Opulent Red, Lattafa - Bade'e Al Oud Amethyst, Al Haramain - Shaghaf Oud, Lattafa - Oud Mood (a whole line). Oh, and two great dupe tips as the last, but not least: Dior Ambre Nuit is great but unaffordable. Paris Corner created Amber Night in their PriveZarah line. You pay a tad more than the average of €20-25, but it's so sexy! Also great to layer with fragrances that have Amber in the base and need more strength. On clothes it lasts for days, on skin a workday (and I usually can't get further than 3hrs). Then Parfum Parlour, residing in the UK, but created in the Emirates. They make a lot of spot on dupes, but one of their most lauded ones is Parfum Parlour - External Extrait (60ml). Get the Extrait!! It's the strongest. Oh and it dupes OG Alien. Because they had to take out the ambergris and switched that for Patchouli they lost a bit of 100% similarity and strength (if you don't like strength, that might be to your liking), but it is the best, smoothest dupe of Mugler - Alien I've tried so far. Ajmal - Sacrifice for her is often named, but the lately my skin pulls Patchouli really really strong, so it is too earthy for me. But still not a bad fragrance, especially if your skin chemistry likes patch, as my skin used to do before.
PS. The Khamrah and Pride line fragrances from Lattafa are a bit more expensive since they're a niche line or super hyped up on UA-cam (Khamrah). If you can get samples always do so, especially with the oudy ones. The Ard Al Zaafaran oud fragrances are actually much softer, sweeter, nice woody. Except for Raghba by Lattafa theirs are the only Oud perfumes I've been able to wear AND like.
I hope I helped giving you great tips for an affordable collection if Dossier doesn't work out: smelling amazing for a normal price. 😀

Because Dossier tweaks each dupe to put their own spin on it, they added berries in the top note. The original Jo Malone only has apple in the top note, so you get to the floral notes much quicker. That’s probably why it felt like wine to you. My experience has been that after the dry down, they get pretty similar. But the addition of berries can be cloying in my opinion.
I hated the Killian love don’t be shy dupe but I didn’t know about the risk free guarantee until about six months had gone by, it was sad. I gave it away but it’s always going to bum me out a little bit that I didn’t get my money back!

Go for decaf coffee instead. I love the taste of coffee and not the caffeine. If I can get a decaf version of a drink that's what I go for. Maybe do a coffee review!? I think if you tried the chamberlain coffees and reviewed them it would go great. Especially since I wanna try them, but they're not exactly at the store. 😀

Amber Cherry the only thing I smell is a strong cinnamon. If i tell myself I smelled cherry,, I can smell just a tiny hint of it. Now, it may just be me, because my husband says he smells cherry, but I sadly I don't. I was hoping to smell like a maraschino cherry.

I just tried them during Black Friday sale. Got two sents. I want to exchange one. They want to charge me extra for it even though it’s an even exchange. Their customer service so far was unable to answer my questions. I tried creat8 g an account with them in hopes of getting a live chat (is there one?). I can’t created an account because it says there is one already. When I try t9 log in it says account doesn’t exist. I’m so fed up. Just know you could have problem with exchanges.
jo malone colognes smell so good but yeah they are colognes not parfums sadly hence doesnt lasts that long with its price point too! hopefully the dossier parfum dupes works one me!

Dua fragrances! Literally spot on. And they're extrait so they last forever! I'm obsessed with angels share and duas version is identical and great for touch ups
Dossier is more than a miss than a hit, in my experience BUT they let you return them back which is a very nice thing. The strongest I have from dossier is Spicy Orchid (Tom Ford dupe) and floral Marshmallow the rest I've tried are meh.
Dossier version of Mon guerlain does it last longer?
No. They are good as far as their dupes go BUT they don't last for sh!t. With the exception of the Chanel No 5 dupe. That one lasts for ever. (If you're into old lady perfumes.)
Hard agree that musky musk smells so close to NAP. I have both and I love using them to layer over more masculine fragrances because they are sweet on me.

I just received Floral Pink Pepper and it smells terrible. I smell zero floral. It's like sharp and smells more like peppery licorice. I have the original Miss Dior Cherie and it's definitely different. Idk how ppl can wear this. Hopefully I can easily exchange this.
I just bought two perfumes from this house last week.. tom ford lost cherry dupe.. and jo Malone woody sage… it’s just a no! I’m easy going but these don’t have the lasting power of even a body mist .. one hour after spraying generously the fragrance was barely there with both…

same! I bought the floral marshmallow and the scent itself is spot on & amazing but it literally lasts like 5 mins?! i literally went through over half the bottle in two weeks because you have to keep reapplying all the time. has the worst lasting power of all the perfumes I have. disappointing
