Even in 2025, an older flagship will still be a much better option since there are now seven years of updates. I see no reason for people (who are not extreme power users) to buy the latest. so I will be skipping aswell
Literally no one is asking for slim phones. Consumers just care that your phone is not a brick. On the contrary, Consumers are asking for pro phones in a smaller form factor. Like a S25 Ultra with form factor of a base S25
This analisys is exactly the same as mine. Ive been rocking a phone from 2020. Feels like only next year it'll be worth to change. Great vid, as always.
I can absolutely see people opting for a 2024 model, especially once the 2025s come out, strictly for the discounted prices. An S24U is still an amazing phone in 2025 and let's be honest, very few people are such power users or fantastic photographers that they would ever use the phone's full potential, much less notice the difference. Most people just want a reliable phone with good performance and battery life that also takes decent pictures. Also, look at Apple racing into 2017 with a 120Hz refresh! How cutting edge!
Reason to upgrade this year: My phone broke down last month. It was already 4+ yrs old, way past its update cycle. Bought s24 ultra in replacement. Except for battery tech, I guess I can get everything you mentioned
Been using my Galaxy S20 Ultra for more than 4years now and I know that it’s stuck on Android 13 but who cares, I’ve seen people still using devices with Android 9 or even Android 7 for that matter, and they’ve absolutely zero issues in running any daily apps on their phones whatsoever, so in comparison to that, my phone is running on Android 13 which I can rest be assured will support every single app that’s on the Playstore for the next coming 6-7years easily.. So the bottom line is that, if you bought a phone after 2020 be rest assured that your phone will easily be able to run any app for the next 7-8 years easily..
my phone is still new and is a flagship phone, so im not in the market for a phone. but i like to see we're moving towards better techs. so hopefully my next phone, in 3-5yrs is actually better
120hz on all apple 17 model. No, Nope not gonna happen. 90hz might be possible for base non-pro model if they are feeling generous but 120hz Nah. They will keep it for iPhone 20😂
You are so right, I almost regret I upgrades this year 😅. Watching all of this upgrades it looks amazing, but I will suck it up, and stay with my phone at least one year more to see what 2026bhave to offer.
Thx for always keeping us updated . Please, I wish to confirm from you if Samsung has removed the Goodluck app because I can't find it again in my region
I will really miss that boxy design that samsung s24 ultra has bcz that gives that phone a unique look but now rumours are strongly suggesting that it would come with flat sides which will provide a slimmer body and good corners to hold...but still only con was that corners majorly as size can be reduced now. What do you think?
What about "Polar ID" ? It's backed by Samsung and is a competitor to Apple's Face ID. Supposed to be superior to Face ID. There are rumors it could come out with the Galaxy S25 Ultra. But most likely with the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
Hi. I wanted ur opinion re z fold 6, if u have time. Samsung offering $410 instant savings plus $500 off my pixel 6a, which is only worth about $200. That brings fold 6 down to $990. Still don’t buy 2024 or pull trigger, lol? Also, the trade in for z fold 6 when fold 7 comes out will prob be a wash if not better. Thanks.
I think people will buy 2024 lunched phones in 2025 cause now a days stability is the issue in the long term... also pricing to product will also decrease. And these two factor will create a impact to buy.
Still using an s23 ultra which runs pretty good for a 2yr old fon. I don't see the reason to upgrade to s25 ultra unless it provides a much better camera and battery
Buy what you can afford. Don’t get into debt buying latest tech. If a phone helps on your job then by all means, if it doesn’t either wait to make enough money or buy what you can afford right now
I some how feel that Redmi note 13 pro will be the last phone that would come with High res audio support and a 3.5mm jack and 3years of updates pending So that's stil dangling in my mind 😁😁
OPPO in camera segment top on dmxi rating... reality it's not upto what they claimed to be two periscope cameras also nahh... actually I am very interested in the phone...
I will buy "redmi note 13 pro plus" next year because it has every thing I need :- 1. a good camera 2. t supports LHDC and LDAC codec 3. Most important charger in the box of 120 watts to charge my laptop also 4. It's also IP 68 rated And all of this at 20000rs
I guess so, although I bought mine last Nov. It's already a powerhouse . But if you want to save more cash just wait for the s25 release. Both s23 and s24 will be lower in price by that time.
As the purchasing power increasing .. people are tempted to change theor phones every 2 years..i did the same but not anymore, and people should stick to their phones for atleast 4 years,. Dont waste your money and global resources.
Older flagships would be better cuz i dont wanna spend 1200 dollars on basically the same phone, infact im waiting for the s25 ultra to get realesed to buy the s24 ultra cuz it will get cheaper!
well i wanted a pixel phone from very long time, but their price isnt justified ..every year they launch their phone for 80k and after a year it will go on a sale and we can get it around 40k... and as per their processor history goes , they are not going to compete with 8 elite n all so for pixel 9 for 40k in 2025 would be great for me ..just my opinion
Who needs so fast smartphones? Even an 600k antutu is fast enough for the general population. I don't need a 3million antutu phone. Besides, a camera phone from 2022 2023 is all that you need for photography. Smartphone tech has gone so far you don't need an upgrade for the next 5 years.
No because it gets only 2 years of update after android 15 and it has a pretty low capacity of battery in which you may have to charge twice or thrice a day otherwise its a very good phone
Why 2024 phones??? Obviously price...jus consider the price of 24 ultra from the launch and now. 2025 phones not even out yet but the hype is real and there comes the price. Definitely it will be a hole in our pockets
