You can cover geyser with a poly bag. When dirty just replace it with another one. This will keep your geyser from getting oily. I do it in my kitchen and is very helpful.

Will suggest you one tip for.yoir geyser. Kiran di plastic food wrap se poore geyser ko wrap kar do diwali ke time you can change the wrap everytime.. I tried this and it works amazing...

Sister you have given excellent ideas at right time. I need to clean chimney long pending. I highly request you to pls put all the cleaning solutions you have used like paste u mentioned for chimney, fan, geyser in description. Also how you cleaned chimney jali by putting in boiling water.
Bcoz for paste baking soda, dishwasher n what's the third item u added I did not understand. Pls help me out.

That third item is vinegar..and for chimney jali add caustic soda in boiling water and dip chimney plates in it for 5 minutes..u will get caustic soda in dwpartmental store
