This is Don Roley, mentioned in the video. There are a few small mistakes, and stuff left out- probably because going into everything about Ron would make this longer than LOTR. One thing I think should have been mentioned is that Ron is still pursuing his legal battle to clear his name. He has taken things all the way to the supreme court. His case has been denied with prejudice, which means that he cannot try it again. But he is constantly trying new ways to get the case reopened and convince the legal system that he is the victim of a vast conspiracy to deny the world from realizing how awesome he is.

@@interestingstufffromaround8014 as I said, some small stuff. I will put something together. But just as an example, you said I contacted the police about Ron's threats and posts. I did pass along stuff, but there were plenty of people on the East Coast that were the ones talking to the cops. Usually Ron would post one of his rambling videos at about 2 in the morning his time, two hours ahead of where I am. By the time I woke here in Colorado, the folks on the East Coast had already reported it. A minor detail, to be sure.

@@interestingstufffromaround8014 thanks. Something that I think should be clarified is the "contributing to the delinquency of a minor" conviction.
I have talked with several women that said Ron did bad things to them when they were kids, and the victim in this case is one of them. Ron had the reputation of the guy in his 20s that would buy beer for underaged kids. At a party, a girl about 13 said she saw Ron put some pills in a beer before bringing it to her.
She did not drink it of course, even though he practically tried to physically force her to. Instead she poured it out.
Several people witnessed him giving out beers, but they couldn't prove what sort of pills they were. So they nailed him on that.
Normally, if you give a minor a beer it is just a slap on the wrist. But because everyone knew what he was really trying to do, he got the maximum possible sentence.

I served with Ron collins back in Vietnam. Back then everyone just called him "shadow wolf" I seen him kill 50 men with only a spoon and some tin foil cans. Also he used to be able to fly around and save the locals from mine fields by dissarming the mines using telekineses, true story I swear.

"Later investigations proved that this was technically true Ron Collins had been discharged from Harvey Whitstien's Martial Arts Emporium with a black belt. Of course the rest of Ron's karate gi was equally black. He just let it fester in his locker between classes. Sensei Harvey discharged Ron because no one could stand the stench any more. This may have solved all the Emporium's problems but this 'early graduation' had twisted his mind even further and now he insisted the reason he had a black belt was because he was the reincarnation of a long dead ninja named 'Shinobi'."

    Former Army infantryman here:
Your suggestion that these were medals that are handed out to everyone is fairly accurate. All of those awards are basically given to you for just being present. There is also a small chance that he's telling the truth about the Army losing some of his records, I had a very important award that I earned in combat that is not on my discharge paperwork that I have fought very hard to have corrected but to no avail.
Edit: For those curious it was my Combat Infantryman Badge. The crazy part is I initially submitted the paperwork to prove I qualified for the award which would cost them nothing but the paper it's printed on, only to have them reevaluate my discharge and medically retire me and pay out a bunch of back retirement pay and not give me my CIB.

I *am* a Cherokee. I am also a historian specializing in the 18th Century Colonial South. I also hold a black belt in Kenpo and have studied several Southeast Asian systems like China Na, Wing Chun, Panantukan and other aspects of Filipino Martial Arts. I am a real martial artist and real Native American and if we had a Cherokee system surviving I would know about it.
There are some tomahawk, grappling and striking techniques that still survive but they're no where near a full system.
*Okichitaw* is the closest to it and is a modern Native American martial art invented by George Lepine, who is a citizen of the Plains Cree tribe and holds multiple black belts in several styles. He took many techniques that were handed down in many tribes and written historic descriptions of Native American hand to hand combat with many tribes and made a modern system based in Native tradition.
I do think some Western tribes have some wrestling and knife fighting traditions but that's it. There is no Cherokee-do. That's some Pretendian bullshit.

13 year Army vet and black belt here. I’ll try to breakdown some of this shit show.
    - The medals you listed are pretty much exactly as you described. The NDSM is given at the completion of boot camp. The Good Conduct means you stayed out of trouble for 3 years. The GWOT Service means you served during the War on Terror. And the Army service, well, means you served in the Army. And the ribbon for Korea just means he did part of his enlistment in Korea.
There’s no Overseas ribbon, no deployment ribbons, no badges (Combat Infantrymen/Combat Action). He never deployed. He never sniffed combat, much less seen it. Dude did the least you can do in the military. He’s a turd. As for the “combat training” and teaching hand to hand, that’s nonsense. Every soldier gets basic combat training. It consists of learning which end of the barrel the rounds come out of, how to shoot (VERY basic), and basic movements. It’s the lowest level of training. Nothing more. And the Army has its own combatives program (that’s its name, it’s not called “hand to hand”), and it’s based on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
    - As for the martial arts stuff, I’ll need to stifle laughter to even need to address those. Multiple black belts before puberty is hilarious. I have a TKD black belt, a BJJ blue belt, wrestled throughout my school years and fought amateur MMA. I started training when I was five years old, and am now 38. In nearly 30 years, I have ONE black belt and some lower ranks in a few others. It’s possible to have maybe one or two more, but only w/ constant training (and no setbacks). This dude is a complete and total clown show.

Army veteran here. So, out of the 6 listed medals 3 of them were essentially given right out of basic training (Army Service, National Defense, and GWOT). Korean Defense medal is from being stationed in Korea, there's no other qualifier needed. Good conduct is given every 3 years of service without any major offense of the Uniformed Code of Military Justice (breaking military laws) and the Army Achievement Medal was likely awarded at the end of his time in Korea. Basically all "Gimmie" awards.

He joined the Marines and failed in boot camp and was sent home. I joined also and while there he tried to lie and take my girlfriend and jumped her little brother. So when I came home after graduation I beat his ass and that's the last I've seen him.

Not military but I know a lot of people in the military and lived in Korea for seven years where I interacted with a lot of US military serving there. Everyone who does military service does receive some level of training as far as I'm aware, but there is absolutely a huge difference between being a desk jockey nerd in a non-combat zone like Korea and watching your friends get blown up and getting into regular life-threatening situations in Iraq or Afghanistan. So it's not entirely "stolen valor" if he did actually serve, but it's definitely gross to imply he is a combat veteran when in reality all he did was handle a radio with occasional bouts of PT in a totally safe environment.

Ive encountered someone like this guy before in the field of Security work. I'm a guard, have been for a long time. The one piece of advice I have if any of you meet someone like this, get away. Don't interact with them at all, they are literally crazy. Mine was named Kyle. He lived in pure delusion. He would make up stories like "I sold covid to the government to stop wars in the middle east", that's a true example. Eventually, I made the mistake of yanking him out of his delusion and back into reality, by chewing him out good for leaving his guard post multiple times and, telling him none of that stuff was real. He called my branch manager, lied, tried to get me fired (which backfired, I knew my manager well and Kyle lost his job for this), and the same night he begged me to take him home from work, and tried multiple times to lure me off post alone. He was trying to get me alone to hurt me, I had to keep my weapon close by the rest of the day. These people completely melt down when you try to pull them into reality, they are very dangerous. Just avoid them completely.

I used to work with a guy who lived the "special op/government assassin" life and he would legit stand around a bunch of vets and say the reason he was late for work was because he just got off the C-130 back from a mission in Afghanistan. We would all act interested and ask a lot of questions until he boxed himself in with lies at which point he couldn't say anymore because "it's classified". And of course he weighed about 300lbs. Made for some great entertainment to break up the boredom.

I worked as a maintenance man for a long time. It was all commercial properties. I worked for the property owner. And it was just me. I loved that job. Well...everything but the crazy alcholic delusional psycho security guard. And he was hired by the tenant. The whole building was being rented by a big ass food distributor. All they did there was payroll. Every call I got went to William (security guard) and then he would msg me about the work order. It was a stupid system but that's how it was. Every time I'd get an order he had a new special forces story for me. He was like 40. I was 25 or so. He was 5' 8" 250...at the very least. Man...he gave me Full Metal Jacket private Pyle vibes hardcore. My boss and I talked about that all the time. She would do walk throughs every week at 1st. Then it went to once a month. And then she would hardly come to at all. Solely because of how uncomfortable William made her. He finally got fired for sexual harassment. And everyone was so worried that he would come back for some revenge killings they entire security system was overhauled. It cost the tenants about 10k.
