Hey guys enjoyed the podcast. However I think it’d be very beneficial if you are responding to a question to do a little planning and have some structure to the discussion. You should have a concise answer to this question in 5 min or less. Maybe 20 minute deep dive if really necessary. This question is very important and after an hour I don’t feel like it was adequately answered
DMT is the discovery of assets from the data substrate defined by the bitcoin blockchain via an indexing scheme. The properties of a confirmed block consist of 40(?) attributes (including number of txns, value of txns, block height, etc....). Any and eventually all of these attributes can become the basis or source to find a matching pattern defined by a user within an attribute. Said attribute must be indexed by (Trac) a decentralized indexing authority. So far the 'bits' field has been indexed, which is field number 11. So for DMT-NATCATS for example, 3b.3b.11.element, is how the pattern element is defined. 11 is for the bits field, field 11. '3b' is the pattern to be matched, and this is a HEX string match pattern (although it doesn't have to be a hex pattern, it can be a base 10 as well). So the data in field 11 of every bitcoin block might or might not have this pattern. For all blocks that have this pattern, then in this example, there is a DMT-NATCATS element that exists and can be derived/defined from that block. How a natcat is defined from a block that matches this pattern is decided by the person who created that natcats project. The natcats project uses the block height number to identify charcteristics for the natcat, including the color of everything, whether it has a cigaratte, mouse or fish in its mouth, whether it has reverse eyes or laser eyes, etc... So for e.g. the color of the left ear might be determined by the 3rd digit in the block height, or something along those lines, and laser eyes if the block height is divisible by 9, etc... The gitbook for that project defines every characteristic. A script that generates the natcat image is embedded on chain that identifies the pattern and then creates the natcat image based on the rules for the natcat project based on the block height. So THIS is what non-arbitrary means. This means for as long as the bitcoin blockchain continues to produce blocks, each block might have a natcat ebmedded within it. It will if the pattern exists in field 11 and the natcat will have its appearance defined by the block height exclusively. The bits field stays the same for 2016 blocks (or something like that) as it changes based on the difficulty adjustment of the block and that only changes approximately every 2 weeks or 2016 blocks. So for natcats, if the pattern matches in a block, then you will have another 2016 natcats, 1 in each of the next 2016 blocks... But then it might be another 10 years before that pattern is found again, but when it is, in this case, there will be another 2016 natcats. Of course the frequency and quantity of a given dmt type will vary depending on the pattern and the field chose to define a given asset. The nature of the dmt asset that does come into existence based on the pattern match will be defined by the asset creator where all atttributes of a given asset are derived from block data. So every DMT asset can emerge into existence based on block data pattern matching and every dmt-asset's characteristics will be defined by block data in ways the asset creator determines and then enshrines into a script that lives on chain to forever create those assets on new blocks where the pattern is exists. If you digest this and then rewatch this podcast I think the discussions will feel a lot more like an answer to the question posed. The metaverse itself, the background or space or environment on/in which things will be built is a Bitmap. A bitmap is a representation of a bitcoin block that is made up of one or more squares. The size & quantity of the squares is defined by the transactions contained in that block. Each square is called is a digital parcel of land that the owner of the block can sell or give away ownership of. As of now I believe the only block parcelized is 716472.bitmap. You can currently go purchase a parcel of land on that bitmap on mscribe. Owners of parcels can embed MML code onto their parcel of land that creates a 3-D interactive environment. Certain avatars, such as Natcats, can be inscribed into a 3D format and live inside the metaverse and roam block 716427 and interact with what is built on each parcel. All of this has actual true value & can actually support a true digital financial metaverse economy because ALL of the components are non-arbitrarily defined by the bitcoin block data. This data is immutable & as secure as bitcoin, meaning the world & assets created are derived from block data and not arbitrarily decided upon by someone who arbitrarily defines a 'world' on which people can build arbitrary things... An arbitrary world of arbitrary assets is like fiat currency -- its inherently worthless as it has no scarcity and it can disappear if an owner kills it or a server crashes.
Yeah exactly. I don't think this will catch sufficient attention until someone can say what the nat token does and why it will be valuable in one sentence
Hi, Not sure if you made a video about TAP protocol after its out. It's doing well and unfortunately I couldn't get a bigger bag. But do you still think it will be as big as you mentioned initially?
I theorize that space is not a void, but that it is part of a single existence or process, like the background such that the foreground can be contrasted & be perceived. As an analogy, like a wave emerges from the ocean to sit atop of it, emanating from the background to appear as a separate entity. Space can be perceived as a substrate from which stars emerge & shine & from which everything emerges into the foreground. Iman's comment that the bitcoin network is a non-arbitrary data substrate triggered my comparison to space being a matter substrate. The bitcoin blockchain is a data substrate born of energy & subsequent non-arbitrary probability densities of activity that enables digital creation & evolution.
Hmm the names have me thinking a lot. I thing pyschoNAT is cool out of the options. Here some I thought could ring strong as well: NATman NATzilla NATty NATBOT NATSTER
$NAT, $GIB, $TAP, Bitmaps, and real FOMO will also go to $TRAC which is actually the Network asset like ETH, BTC, SOL are.....people sleep on $TRAC, it is fun!
With bitcoin as a data substrate from which a metaverse can emerge we will likely be able to realize parallel universes and time travel in the digital world. Say in 5-10 years the metaverse is thriving as an actual trillion dollar economy. Observing the evolution of the metaverse, one could create a new indexing basis that defines the parameters by which the bitcoin data substrate is perceived. This would create another metaverse where things would be built differently. We would then inevitably have some sort of transforms to map one metaverse to another to possibly allow inter-dimensional travel of assets. So my NatCat of block 830038 for example, might exist as a different avatar entity in another metaverse and if that metaverse is younger than 830038 blocks...?? Am I not able to enter that metaverse, or perhaps I can... And for the time travel possibility, imagine having watched possible binary outcomes that puta metaverse on a particular vector, one could go to a younger metaverse with similar yet different indexing with this knowledge & make a different choice sending the future of that metaverse down different vector... Just thinking out loud dudes... I enjoyed your show
I used to watch every video from the Block Runner, until they disrespected bitoshi the guy who discovered bitmaps. They use fancy words to describe protocols but can't exercise restraint or respect to the guy who found bitmap. When a record label releases a new song sure they played a part but the artist was the creator, not the label. I am bullish on Trac and on tap but the manner in which the block Runner decided to disrespect a fellow Builder is unprofessional and I refuse to support them any longer.
Why is it so hard for you guy's to come straight to the point ? Always that lame bs talk, self entertaining D-tour bs. You guys have been talking about this topic for months and nowhere are you able to produce a clear coherent story. Would not recommend it to anyone, what a crap !

It can $NAT get more clear than this: ua-cam.com/video/Ef4iVxuOhT0/v-deo.htmlsi=8nomroLS7wnkh2zg
It’s not what it does, it’s what it means.
This is several years of culmination. There’s a lot of substance that comes with the answer.
You three dudes continue to knock it out of the park.
Thanks! Glad you like it.
$GIB me some $NAT for my Bitmap
Great show!
very cool
Thanks for watching!
Blockrunners fortune teller's, always 7- 12 months early!!! 💥💥
ps, thank god you did this episode! was feeling information overload myself.
Are you $NAT entertained?
Hi, Not sure if you made a video about TAP protocol after its out. It's doing well and unfortunately I couldn't get a bigger bag.
But do you still think it will be as big as you mentioned initially?
Several videos on TAP are out now.
Nat punks
That one is good too
@TheBlockRunner talk about it more. My bags r hurting 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I inscribed DMT NAT in January last year. But after that I left it as it is. Now it is showing a freeze amount of NAT . Why so ?
Freeze amount? You need to inscribe a transfer inscription just like a BRC-20 to move it.
Is tap dmn nat a good investment?
nat mission
NAT another mission.

What about Fairmint! This might be a next big opportunity
