- In Power Book 2 Ghost Season 4 Episode 5, we saw Diana giving Tariq an ultimatum, in fact, throughout Power Book 2 Season 4, we've seen Diana in a limbo. She's wanted to come out of the street game and live a life away from the dangers that come with it. However, she has been constantly warned. Now the one thing that actually saved her life was her pregnancy and the fact that Tariq St Patrick is the father of her baby, which does make her storyline that much more complex in Ghost Season 4. So, in this breakdown, I run through the storyline involving Diana, Monet and Tariq and how the walls seem to be closing in for Diana Tejada, but what it could mean for both Tariq and Monet going forward in the world of Power Book 2 Ghost.

This season has been super weak so far for being a final season. Not saying it's been bad just hasn't hit as hard as other episodes when all 10 of these episodes should be hitting the hardest since it's the last
I’ve enjoyed most of it so far but I gotta agree tbh. I think it started well but the heat went pretty quickly.

The reason why she dies is because the children always pay for the actions of their parents
Those flashbacks showed that Lorenzo was really a soldier, playing his role like he was suppose to. Not being a snake like Monet nem kids
Facts everything fell apart because lorenzo was locked up and when he came out he wasn’t in control
It’s sad that she lied to them their entire lives. Seek wouldn’t have died had they known everything and she did a better job or raising them instead of being selfish and controlling.
Lorenzo had a role to play as well. He was supposed to take that next step in the game so his family could get out the projects. He lied to Monet because he was scared. He should've quit and got a job so his family at least could have a better life. If not then there was no choice but to move up.
I could see Noma finding out about Diana being pregnant and send a hit out on her to get back at Tariq which would cause a rift between noma and the Tejada

I was rewatching the original Power series and noticed how grown and mature the storyline was. If they combine Force and Ghost, I want it to be gritty and raw like the original series and Force. Including kids in the shows often weakens the storyline.

Diana betrayed Tariq bcus she was controlled by monet.. monet convinced her that Tariq set her up to go to jail by telling her to use the lockers. Diana was forced into this game and was the only one who truly wanted out! She doesn’t have a bad heart but is gullible! Effie is out for herself and she’s low key addicted to the game and blaming it on paying for her education! If anybody should die it should be Effie not the one carrying Tariq legacy

My theory is that Zion will go to Tejada house looking for Cane but finds Diana instead and hurts her as some form of payback, which causes her to loose the baby. Trust me when I say Diana is not getting away as much as she wants to.

Ghost wanting out the game is what made his enemies. He killed their network, tried to kill Lobos the first time, tried to kill Kanan, and did it all behind Tommy’s back. His family was very safe until he decided that he wanted out. I think Tariq may be right that he has to be on top and picking a lane and staying in it. After Ghost killed Vladimir is when Milan came in right up under Ghost nose and started to put his family in danger.

Ghost had no choice but to do all these things after the fact that the ones he told that he want to be out the game didn’t want him to leave, the scene when Tommy tells Tariq that ghost mistake was that he was one foot in one foot out but Tommy forgot to add the part that ghost did pick a side but him tasha was the ones that kept bringing him back; so in a way him staying one foot in one foot out cause all those chain of events. They treated ghost as the scapegoat at every turn, only way for him to get out was death so in a way he won in the end but he didn’t get what he want and that’s the theme of power, every character doesn’t get what they want

Tariq wasn’t entirely wrong by saying he needs to be at the top of the game to protect them…ghosts family was very insulated and untouched all the way up until he wanted out and then the life caught up to him after lobos died and he was no longer the connect that’s when Milan made his move…staying on top keeps his name good in the streets too..which would have its benefits
Well Noma is at the top and her daughter has been exposed and endangered and could have easily been killed/kidnapped. So that "top spot" philosophy ain't nothing but a drug dealer's delusion!

First Frame of the part 2 trailer, We see Tariq almost crying but if we pay attention to the person Tariq is looking at, we can easily see that it’s Diana talking to him and she is moving her head (she is not dead), we don’t see her face but it looks she is on the hospital bed and I think she is telling Tariq that she lost the baby and he must fix it (get revenge). That’s why Tariq looks sad and angry.

I think after cane took zions pride, zion tries to hit him where it hurts(his family) and diana accidentally gets caught in the crossfire. Then tariq avenges by taking out zion. Im not sure how noma would fit into this part of the story though

I know everything is moving slow right now but if I’m correct the same way they introduced Detective Carter is pretty much the same way major characters like Jukebox was introduced to us . We truly didn’t know Jukebox until Raising Kanan came out.

Also I feel like part 2 of the finale is going to be insane. Also I think from the way the power book 2 actors and actresses were talking something big is in the way after this show ends and after force ends. Power book 2 has to be there most popular show and it doesn’t even get 6 seasons . Personally I think Ghost is coming back we all gotta be patient and let this story play out because something major is on the horizon .

I got Carter, Zion, Davis, and Dru. I got two stars on Cane meaning it can go 3 ways. He’s either gonna die, go to prison, or he will be on the run.
Effie to me will either get to Stanford, jail, or die. My money is on Stanford. Tariq gets her out of jail and she moves on.
If effie gonna die they at least have to show little bit of her back story before then. Just like they showed us with dre the scene he had with his mom. At first we thought dre was so evil and a snake but he had a backstory like everyone else

It died along with Jr. Carter doesn’t care about doing any legit police work since he’s dirty. He just wants civilians to be safe and to get his cut from the drug dealers. The only way for Diana to possibly survive at this point is to become the very thing that she doesn’t want to be which is her mother which means she has to get on board with Tariq’s plan because the reality of the situation is even though she wants to keep their baby out of the game the moment she decided to have it the baby was already in the game due to who it’s family is on top of the fact that she wants to name it Lorenzo which is the same name as her father and brother two know murdering drug dealers one of whom went to jail and was the later murdered so she’s already pre determining his fate off that alone but I could see her dying as result of trying to become her mother

I think it's odd that Diana has not been trying to figure out who shot her mother. This means either she thinks Tariq did it like her mother thinks or she knows he didn't do it and doesn't care. If the latter is the case, that doesn't make any sense.

That scene where Tariq is crying is in the hospital because that is definitely a hospital window and chair. Also that is Diana with her head turned towards him. If Diana is in that hospital that soon and she’s able to turn her head and look at Tariq, it’s more probable she had a miscarriage and lost the baby.
I'm going to take wild guess that Tariq is crying over Tasha getting shot or dying. Just as Cain teared up when Monet was shot

Pinky, Tariq, and Diana are all connected to Salim’s death. Salim could have had cameras in that house and the footage could have been erased. In the trailer for part B it looks like Carter had a gun pointed at Pinky’s head. And Diana look like she was in shock/defense at salim’s get away place. She may think its safe for her to go back and end up being shot at and accidentally kill someone and be rushed by task force. Leading her to Go to jail. Thats why i think the actress that portrayed her said if they want to they could bring her back. Unless she’s shot and put in protective custody. But i dunno, just a theory.

I think Diana losing the baby will push her on a path towards being her mother and by seasons end she’ll be in on Tariq’s plan to get to the top it’s the only way to ensure they’re safety Tariq has done to much dirt he can’t just leave the drug game
That’s why I think then losing the baby will be more devastating than losing Tasha, GMA Estelle, or Yas at this point cuz it doesn’t do anything for the main plot. It doesn’t hurt the Tejadas. Based on the ep 7 description, both Tariq and the Tejadas come together to avenge what they lost, so that means they both lost something. Nothing more significant to the plot than losing the baby.

Monet blew her second chance when she asked Drew to rob Noma, knowing he hated “the life.” She couldn’t go into her stash to start over herself huh?! I hope she pays big for that.
