    The p09 is probably my favorite gun ever built. Expecislly for the price.
    Its just a gun that fits me perfectly

    I agree the omega trigger system is not the best feeling out of the box, but they break in pretty good. Also, like you said they can be upgraded to be great for sure. With that said, there has always been something special about the P09 & P07 for me as they just shoot so well for some reason.

    Agreed on the Omega trigger.
    Mine will be getting a CGW Pro package which does NOT make it S2 good, but much much better.
    I love that an EPS direct mounts!
    I find these polymer frames carry more comfortably than my Sphinx, or P-01.
    ANR HOLSTERS ARE THE BEST.
    Looking forward to the Nocturne holsters coming out.
    Please let us know when they drop.
    Hopefully you’ll also include them in your new Level2’s coming out!
    Thanks for another good review!

      These fit the standard P07/P09 holsters so no need to wait.

    Has anyone confirmed that the new slides will work on the previous generation frames?

      Outlaw might have caused the problem with an optic screw on the right side

      @@waterhead1359 outlaw isn’t the only one that has been having issues though, but I agree it could be an optics screw hanging it up

      Who else had an issue?

    • @treedoor
      @treedoor 6 днів тому +1

      I'm a little suspicious that the issues are self-inflicted in some cases, such as by tightening the optic down with screws that are too long. Hopefully we see an updated video from people like Outlaw and others.
      I got mine first week it released and have put through 600 rounds with zero malfunctions of any type so far.

      @treedoor In Honest Outlaws case, I believe he bent the ejector by jamming in a P-10F mag.

    Was zeroing my P09C today. Is it me or does it seem like dropping the slide with a round doesn't feel like it's going all the way into battery?

    • @MassJass
      @MassJass 6 днів тому +2

      I think the molds are fucked up on the P09C. There's a batch out there with tolerance issues.

    • @treedoor
      @treedoor 6 днів тому +2

      I think I know what you mean. I also have the P09C and dropping the slide is not as loud or dramatic as on other pistols I've used or own. I assume it's due to the slide running through the frame, and being polymer which I imagine softens that feeling? In any case, I have never had an out of battery, or any malfunction on mine so far with 600 rounds through it, and I have never had to re-rack the slide or hit it to make it go into battery. I think it's just more "quiet" and "softer" than other pistols and makes you question if the slide actually went all the way in, especially if you are used to that loud thunk/slap on other pistols. It's just something to get used to, I guess.

      @@QQmore Not something I'd worry about in that case then. As long as it's actually going into battery, you should be fine. I think it's just something to do with the CZ design of having the slide run through the frame. It must be dampening the sound of dropping the slide, but it's nothing to worry about in my experience so far (this is my first CZ, and first polymer-frame pistol with this sort of design)

  • @DavidBrown-wo9ip

    My main complaint is the only optic options are micro red dots. The P-09 and P-09C are duty sized guns, and should have been made to mount duty sized optics, like the RMR’s, 507’s, and Delta Point Pros. The P-07 and P-09 are my favorite guns in the CZ line, but the compatibility with only micro red dots, make the upgraded guns a no for me.😎✌️

      It 8s a skinny slide, that's why

    • @DavidBrown-wo9ip
      @DavidBrown-wo9ip 2 дні тому

      @@kirkradich4641 I’ve owned both Glock 17’s and 19’s the width of both was 1.26 inches. I’ve also owned CZ P-07’s and P-09’s with a width of 1.46 inches. Barring the fact that this represents overall width of the guns, the width of the CZ slides were considerably wider than the Glock slides, and the latter supported the mounting of full size optics. Furthermore companies like Cajun Gunworks, Boresight solutions, and a company I worked for in Texas routinely performed optic cuts for the RMR footprint as well as other full size optics onto P-07 and P-09 slides. All that to say the width of the new P-09C, and P-09F, which has not changed from the original specs regarding slide width, is not the issue.😎✌️

    I got this the first week it came out and have put in 600 rounds so far without a single malfunction. I put around 200 rounds through it every weekend/every other weekend. The trigger has broken in quite well on mine.
    I don't mind the trigger as I feel it was "designed" to be a duty/carry pistol first and foremost, and not a competition pistol. It is different and requires some getting used to though. I guess there is some slight comfort knowing that the trigger won't go off at the slightest touch when it's cocked in single action because there is still a little take-up on it.
    If you can do the work yourself, it's not all that expensive to upgrade the trigger with some of the options out there like Cajun or MCarbo.
