This ship is so much better with an agile build using William Tennet. If you try to play it with Bruce Faser and all gun upgrades, you might as well play the tanky American cruisers. Spartan needs to mix it up with his cruisers builds once in a while lol.
The Albemarle’s armour is simultaneously one of its biggest strengths, while also being one of its biggest weaknesses. If you know how and when to correctly angle your armour, 16 inch guns are not as big of a threat as you think, as the only place they can overmatch your armour is the bow, stern, and upper side armour, meaning if you know what you’re doing, you can bounce a LOT of shells.
Reload is slow because of the mod 4 slot. Balti and Albemarle have similar reloads as stock I believe and my Albie reload is 10.9s I think. Would deffo recommend Tennant build - vastly superior IMO on Albemarle and Surrey than Fraser/Belfast builds.
Cruisers are the hardest class for me to play well so I'm quite interested in learning about the cruiser's strengths and weaknesses, and strategy for playing them.
@@VIIHIPPER exactly Baltimore can't overmatch 356mm or 27mm and don't get me started on that handy 30mm of deck Armor. At the end of the match ALBEMARLE can OUT HE any Cruiser without a doubt

Love this ship although it needs tennant on it to shine and considering how you like to say that you don’t like to sit 15km+ it confuses me why you haven’t tried him yet and my best ever game was in this ship it wasn’t ridiculous damage but 150k is still very good and 8 kills isn’t bad either IMO considering the 9th was stollen Edit: Scharnhorst has 283mm or 11” guns
First couple times driving this boat i actually laughed at how BIG this thing is. Was entertaining sailing next to BBs and being nearly as big (or even bigger) then they are 😅... as far as gameplay, thing really comes alive with an agile build as the guns perform REALLY well even without help. The ace is its back pocket is that heal though. More than once I've taken shocking hits at the beginning of a match but manage to survive to the end and rack up frightening amounts of damage is the process, all because of that megaheal
I have to admit, I do think you've got a poor setup for this ship. With my current build I've got a 9.9km concealment and an a 10.7s reload time for the guns. This almost allows you to stealth radar destroyers. I'm not sure why others don't try this sort of setup, but maybe its just because I play the ship more than I should.
British CAs are better with the Agile Build of William Tennant. Also, Spartan you need to deliver an explanation on why there isn't a Meet the Ship series on the Royal Navy Tech Tree Destroyers. I searched your entire list of videos and found nothing of them aside from the Premium Royal Navy DDs.

You should do modern looks at older premiums. Especially ones you got before the armor viewer.
