Χολομώντας Χαλκιδική από ψηλά - Holomontas Halkidiki from above - Drone 4K Video 2024

☆ Ο Χολομών, ή Χολομώντας, ή και Υψίζωνος, είναι βουνό του νομού Χαλκιδικής με μέγιστο υψόμετρο 1.165 μέτρα. Είναι το δεύτερο υψηλότερο βουνό της χερσονήσου της Χαλκιδικής μετά τον Άθω και καλύπτει σχεδόν όλο το ανατολικό και κεντρικό τμήμα του νομού. Καλύπτεται από πυκνή βλάστηση κυρίως φυλλοβόλων δέντρων όπως δρυς και πλατύφυλλων. Μεγάλο τμήμα του βουνού έχει ενταχθεί στο δίκτυο Natura 2000.
Μέσα από τις πυκνές φυλλωσιές των δέντρων ξεπροβάλλει η θέα των τριών χερσονήσων, αλλά και του Αιγαίου. Παραδοσιακές ταβέρνες μέσα στο δάσος και στα χωριά προσφέρουν κυνήγι και άλλα πεντανόστιμα τοπικά εδέσματα. Διάσπαρτα μικρά εκκλησάκια συναντά κανείς σε όλη τη διαδρομή. Αρναία, Παλαιοχώρι, Νεοχώρι, Στανός, Βράστανα είναι μερικά από τα χωριά στα πέριξ του βουνού. Τα αρχαία Στάγιρα, η γενέτειρα του φιλόσοφου Αριστοτέλη εντυπωσιάζουν ενώ το τοπίο στους καταρράκτες της Αγίας Βαρβάρας είναι μαγικό.☆
☆ Cholomon, or Cholomontas, or Ypsisonos, is a mountain in the prefecture of Halkidiki with a maximum altitude of 1,165 metres. It is the second highest mountain of the Halkidiki peninsula after Athos and covers almost all of the eastern and central part of the prefecture. It is covered by dense vegetation of mainly deciduous trees such as oaks and broad-leaved trees. A large part of the mountain is included in the Natura 2000 network.
Through the dense foliage of the trees, the view of the three peninsulas and the Aegean Sea can be seen. Traditional taverns in the forest and in the villages offer hunting and other delicious local dishes. Scattered small churches can be found all along the route. Arnea, Paleochori, Neochori, Stanos, Vrastana are some of the villages around the mountain. The ancient Stagira, the birthplace of the philosopher Aristotle, is impressive, while the landscape at the waterfalls of Agia Varvara is magical.☆
