I have recently returned from my first weekend of Voice Sound Healing training - rediscovering overtones in my own voice and experiencing the powerful effect of toning and overtoning as a group in a sound chamber. I was already mesmerized by your mastery 7 years ago, when I first stumbled on one of you tutorial videos, and when I saw first the short version (EDIT : little did I know that Andesana and Lambdoma were separate pieces, Andesana being more intense and melancholic, cruelly short, but intense and so beautiful), I was in a transe-like state. This short video stops, I go look up your chain, and I find this longer piece (which didactically share the true length of sound the real secret behind percussion) and several videos that I had not seen yet! Ontem descobri que se eu tiver tempo nesse corpo físico quero criar meu estilo ou tradição assim sendo não vai ser dos antigos mongois nem dos monges franciscanos e sim vai ser cabanencis cianenssys. Puxo o som lá do fundo da angústia e desarmonia e sai uns sons irados ou lamentosos mas sempre triunfantes. Oque tu faz com o som que sai pelo teu nariz é algo gigantesco como nossa galáxia e aqui no planeta terra ninguém conseguiu ouvir ainda nem mesmo você pois se ouvissemos nos desmaterialializimos. Tu foi mandada pra criar uma frequência que se comunica com galáxias distantes ! Tu veio pra manter aberto um canal antigo como a terra. Eu apenas cheguei perto de ouvir por meio segundo teu som e isso me desmaterialisou por 1 minuto. Agora vivo em outra dimensão. Agradeço a internet por me dar a oportunidade de dizer isso pra ti que é uma deusa. Foi deusa no egito.e é agora. it's just my bad speakers or the tubes themselves produce overtones? also, does this performance follow any time signature? just asking because I find it incredibly soothing and calming, like it induce my mind to vibrate in the same gentle manner she performs. so captivating, thank you Anna-Maria!!
The tubes absolutely produce overtones, many overtones, and you can bring out different ones depending on where you strike the tube and with different materials.

Almost everything that produces sound has overtones.
The tubes absolutely produce overtones, many overtones, and you can bring out different ones depending on where you strike the tube and with different materials.
