You could alternate the nayat also but its thicker material and doesn't really alter the end result of the brush. I have built many craft fur brushes with material on oneside of the wire it's just a preference, the thing that really matters is quantity of material and how well the wire holds it together once it's spun. With the nayat you only put materials on one side of the wire but craft you do both?
