Woman’s Weekly. Thats a blast from the last….and 1978 is the year I got married. Shame about the rain in Cirencester but it looks like a place worth going back to. Love your steps from HomeSense.

Lisa, there is a nice area near the market in Cirencester ( where the church is) where you can have a lovely walk and have a picnic. 😊
There is also a lovely antique shop that has so many floors to explore and they have lots of interesting items.
Try visiting stow on the wold and Bourton on the water..😊

Thanks, that’s the store I wanted to find that I went to with my sister but we couldn’t find it.
We used to go to those other places lots as kids 😍

Whenever you play that music when you were arranging the plants - it always reminds me of THE LAND ride. lol, no idea if it sounds anything like it but it reminds me of it 😂. X

I live in Michigan in America, and I love all the quaint towns in the U.K. My mother-in-law was British. She and my father-in-law retired to England in the 1980s. When my husband and I got married, we went to visit them for our honeymoon. They lived in Devon in Budleigh Salterton. Absolutely loved it over there. We went to Exeter, Sidmouth, The Moors, London, and I can't even remember everywhere. Have you been to Sidmouth? It was such a quaint and lovely village on the English Channel. You're very fortunate to live there. Thanks for sharing your adventures. Aid was so proud of his surprise. That was very thoughtful of him.

My Great Grandparents used to live in Cirencester. The last time I visited it was the year 2000/2001 💜

My sister lives in chadbury , we are house sitting and have been flooded in at the bottom of her driveway three times in the last three weeks ! The Avon has burst its bank and the fields are flooded still , so know this area really well ! Love Cirencester, ! You should try boughton on the water but don’t go at the weekend . Daylesford organic farm worth a visit ! Evesham battle re enactment in August is worth visiting , combine with a visit to broadway! Worcester cathedral is fabulous! I could go on.

Kemble is exciting to drive past. It’s also where planes go to die 😢😢😢. They dismantle them here and sell the parts. So I guess you can say they still keep flying through their donor parts ❤❤

I love Cirencester, you must go back when it’s a bit warmer and wander around as there are so many cute shops. We visited yesterday (about 30 mins from me) and had a delicious baguette from the shop you walked by.

Cirencester is our home, I was born in the hospital you probably passed. The airport you passed is also known as Cotswold Airport, and in the summer there is a cafe/ restaurant where you can sit and watch planes. It’s called Av8 .
