What about checking the condenser for the right freon pressures and checking the sight glass first. So the Condensers are running correctly, then check each evp.
In regards to mini split heat pump units, if you are meant to use the sub cooling method as a way to check refrigerant charge because of EEV in outdoor unit, how are you able to do it if there is only 1 service port on the Suction line and nothing on the liquid line? a lot of mini split systems seem to have this set up. thanks!
Home split aircond R32 1. how to find target superheat in Celcius 2. do u hv chart for it 3. what remote temp do u set i.e 24 celcius, low fan, no swing
Looking to get a set of the Testo Smart probes. Do the probes and the app have the capability to log data and display graphs of the pressures and temps?
In graph form yes, data logging yes as long as your phone says beside them. You cant set them up and leave for a couple days and leave. For a couple of hours no problem.
@@HVACKnowItAll Thats a bit unfortunate. I was hoping to have the probes connected on the system whilst diagnosing other faults on site without having to leave my phone/tablet behind. thanks for your reply
Nice video mate but clear my mind I read on google the for must system superheat at the evap should be 6-8 walk in cooler and 4-6 freezer can u explain that for me
You typically want your evap SH to be low, so you can ensure you are using more of the coil to boil off the refrigerant. High evap SH means you're loosing evap efficiency. You also have to be worried about too much system SH as to not overheat refrigerant cooled compressors, it's bad for the oil.
The medium used to absorb the heat, the refrigerant. Is related to the amount which increase or decrease The Superheat You want the right amount of refrigerant which relates to the right amount of heat absorption
404, EH? Isn't that a freeway going north from the Don Valley Parkway? 😀 You sound like you are Canadian...if not, I will remove this comment. Having fun here in Virginia.
I don't understand why we always adjust the stem on TXVs if they are MODULATING valves to begin with i.e. the TXV is going to adjust the needle pin for refrigerant flow to wherever the sending bulb tells it to. Adjusting the spring tension via the external stem is almost like playing with yourself, it feels good but doesn't make anything. That sending bulb and E.L. are going to tell that needle pin how much to open or close after everything is said and done anyways, do why bother. ???
It's not always the TXV!
HVAC Know It All haha truth. you must be part of a few of the HVAC Facebook groups out there.
When it is it is when it ain't you wasted a whole fucking day.
instablaster.
Great channel brother. I've been doing hvac/R for about 7 years. Still learning. Thanks for making videos Mr.Know it all. Lol
Great tip! The way I remember is if you want to Lower superheat, you Loosen the screw.
Correct
Lowfrezing point ,is 2'f----'4,
This just flipped the light bulb on lol thanks for the content brother
You're welcome!
love the detailed explanation brother, keep them coming, I just subscriber.
I appreciate that!
Very important in refrigeration. I run in many times I'm proper super heat and compressors failing in a few years.
the best explanation so far that I've seen, do you have a video and so on subcooling?
What about checking the condenser for the right freon pressures and checking the sight glass first. So the Condensers are running correctly, then check each evp.
Nice video graphics, good view on tablet about pressures and saturation temps over all good sound and intro music
Thank you!
Nice explanation about the txv and how to adjust it.
Thanks Chris!
@HVACKnowItAll
How to find what is optimal SH OR SC Requires for a 404a system
Simple and to the point. Thank you.
Thank you!

Thanks a lot for sharing that always scare me to try ,but u make look so easy thanks again
You're welcome
would you check the site glass at the condenser is see if its flashing first, then check each evap, great video
thank you sir , ı love testo equipments a lot bluetooth connection is very usefull
Great video. Happy weekend ^_^
Thank you, you too!
Great video Mr.
Thank you!
Easy explanation thanks buddy
Great video and thank you for sharing your knowledge! any tips for new techs in the commercial refrigeration field?
ya, follow @dnoorian
Great video tutorial ❤ thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience 🫡🇵🇭♥️
Nice sir. I like your tools
nice explanation brother..
Great content tech
Thank you. If you have a chance to show the old school way with gages would be cool.
Nice.
Great info
Home split aircond R32
1. how to find target superheat in Celcius

Great job thanks
My pleasure
When adjusting the txv valve, and it does not respond to any turns whatsoever. Not allowing the SH to change. Would this mean txv is bad?
Great video
What make instrument are you using to measure super heat?

if the expansion valve is manufuntion on chiller what cam l do
Sir, How much SH is adequate for a -40°C Blast Chiller using 404a refrigerant in 63KW system with 150 HP Screw compressor ?
Beautiful !!! 😎👍

Cheking superheat near desire temperature
Nice video
Is Equalizer after expansion valve bulbe
Awesome bro
thanks
Can you provide details of pressure and temperature measuring device
They are testo smart probes
Sir , how to find out proper gas charge in system by measure superheat .?
You need to measure super heat and subcooling
Very good information 👍
So if i need more cooler to my package unit?
Thanks you

The Superheat
You want the right amount of refrigerant which relates to the right amount of heat absorption
What happens if you permanently take off the sensoing bulb of the
? how do you do this without the app?
Why are you checking superheat if there is a txv valve in the system?
Tx valves still require an initial set up and periodical check.
Good video's👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you
4:17 pm you don’t check superheat on start up you need to be within at least 5 degrees of the temperature set point
The box is at set point sir!
boss is that chiller evaporator system?
Good day sir, about the app... How to use em
Nice!
Thank you!
sir your work places?
👍
Hi sir
I always told myself lefty lessy and that stuck

Cap er lary not capil a ry
No bud, there's no such spelling as caperlary. The word is capillary - some pronounce it different than others.
That is the wrong way to teach. Shortcuts lead to failure and misdiagnosis.
Pardon? What is wrong?
