I Lived in Longton 1990-92 ..about 2 miles from Shellys ...i was at Keele studying to be a Social Worker and would sling Pills at the weekend to make a little extra and pay for my Night Out ...hooked up with a Wolves Crew ...and a Stoke Crew...magi Magic Days ...especially Friday Night Sashas Delight nights
Can you imagine the euphoria at that moment 😎 everybody feeling the rush! NJOI had a magical way with sound to increase the dopamine 😍 there will never be another time in history as special and unique as this right here ☝️❤
The energy that Saffron portrayed is a testament to real spiritual power she carried way before phones, television, social-media and other "communication" garbage we have these days...
Back in the days when standard VHS camcorder blank tapes can only do 60 minutes of recording and you had no choice but to pause and figure out which performance or scene to record, because your tape could only fit so much videos before it ran out of space.
Nice to see somebody actually enjoying performing on stage(particularly Saffron), half of the groups of today simply play live for the money and seem like the only do it because their manager suggested they should play at said gig/festival
What I really miss was the early days of Acid Houses and early raves is the types of people. I was from the LA warehouse scene, it was just a wide variety of people, it hadn't become a culture of pacifiers and 13 year old ravers. That was great fun. Sadly seems techno really hasn't evolved and I think the stuff that came out in the late 80s/early 90s is better than what is coming out today. But then I don't follow it like I use to.
Funny thing is, when I recorded this my camera was and A1 Sony spec but it could not cope with the audio. Still classic and a memory I will never forget. I enjoyed doing it and it’s not bad for amateur hour!
