What a useful explanation! Thank you so much for this Nice video,but i just need an extra clarification about the two characters Nick and Gatsby.According to my understanding Nick is both a narrator and a character in the novel wherese Gatsbey is the protagonist,isn't it?

Nick is the narrator. Some consider Gatsby the protagonist because so much of the novel focuses on his dream to win Daisy. I consider Nick the protagonist because the novel is about his disillusionment and retreat to his hometown.
