Hello everyone! While in Paris I manage to pick up the oh so amazing Saint Laurent Sac De Jour.. Their version for MEN which comes with a very thick shoulder strap and a larger body frame overall to the bag.
The Bag comes in two finishes. Croc Embossed and Grained Leather. The Version I got is the Croc Embossed one! I paid 2,450 Euros for the bag!

Its a large sac du jour. Shopping in europe is way cheaper because you get the vat removed

How did you deal with it as carry-on? I assume it won't fit under plane seat, and since you can't zip it shut, was it a pain shoving it in overhead? Really want to pull the trigger but would love someone's thoughts specifically on plane travel with it.... thanks!!

I'm on the business side of things too; when I walk into a meeting with the exact same bag but in the women's version, all eyes are on the bag (unfortunately not on me he, he). Wish mine had a snap on mid section too, that's a great feature on yours.

SO SICK!!! Wish they had made this last summer. I was in Paris deciding between the new plain grain de poudre men's SDJ or the medium OG croc embossed, which I ended up choosing :)
The size on this is PERFECT (like a Birkin 40) & I love the removable pouch & shoulder strap. Mine gets SO HEAVY LOL 😫😫😫😫😫 Enjoy it man! So nice!

Hi! I need your advice. :)
My orders from two famous online stores with two new black baby croc arrived
today and the bag had several chips / sratches where you could totally
see that the coating is super thin. I always thought hat the croc one is
made out of thick leather and is therefore scratch resistant. Well, I think I was totally wrong. :/
Can you please tell me how is the wear and tear of the leather? if it gets scratched/chiped easily? I am wondering if the two bags were just a bad example..

Really nice bag. I like how even the lock is in black. Is faux crocodile skin supposed to look like actual crocodile skin or is it like leopard print that gives the bag an animalistic vibe.

@monsiieuralex hi! can i check if this bag is sturdy enough to hold a laptop for everyday work ? i was looking at it in store and realised that the shoulder strap joints (the part where the shoulder strap connect to the bag) seems thin... i wonder if it can handle laptops plus documents everyday without breaking...?
