Fantastic video guys. I really appreciate everything that both of you and others are doing to put our cultures best face forward. I lived in NZ in 2012 and came back to Aus and decided to get into hunting- all from being immersed in the NZ hunting culture. They do it so well over there. I’ve since been na k for a Tahr hunt and want to go again for a Red roar one year. It was difficult learning everything without having a mentor or friends in the sport here in Aus. Needless to say, I have since had good success in State Forests and feel confident hunting there. I’ve just been fortunate enough to draw Mannus Seymour’s in the DPI ballot for the 2025 rut. If anyone has any thoughts (I normally hunt Central West SF) I’d love to hear them. Thanks again guys. Keep up the good work! 🤙🏼👍🏼🤙🏼
as per Phil Chalmers, the skull length and ear length will indicate if its Rusa or Sambar- seems to look very sambar-ish - assuming NSW head, very cool head non the less

What a story that’s the result that we as ethical moral hunters strive to achieve
And frustrated with hunters not understanding that they can’t make an effort to stand up for our hunting future wake up people
