I think we're missing the huge point about all of this. Since this whole Rock return, We're all talking about how WWE is cooking and how awesome its going to be going into Mania season. Not one person was looking at the Vince McMahon sex scandal skeleton that almost derailed the company a few weeks ago. WWE is doing amazing work and although plans got thrown into disarray (Punk's Injury, Brock's accusations in the Lawsuit, Seth's injury,Etc ) , they've bounced back pretty quickly.

But after Rock’s antics and responses over the media and seeing him make this all about their family Cody can say that he now sees this is just about nepotism and glory for their family. Rock now uses his real life position as board member into kayfabe becoming a tyrant. Cody can eventually point out that Rock is the true tribal chief being that Roman is just following his orders around, slowly building in descension between the 2 heads of the table over the course of 2024 until we finally get Roman as a babyface going into WM 41 against the Rock.
