David Carr was a better QB than Derek. He had one of the strongest and most accurate arms ever seen coming out of Fresno State. The Texans ruined his career. Derek is more of a system QB who needs a lot of weapons to be good. He just wasn't gifted with enough accuracy to go along with his arm strength.
Not every team has a Kamara, so I don't think the Boys go El Foldo like that every week, but it was clearly Kamara's game, the true MVP. Funny how underpaid and underrated the running game is but will somebody wake the F up and realize that it is used as a strategic weapon as well as tactical, and can win games for you?
West coast offense is the best offense to run in pro football. It's also the hardest to learn and teach because ots not really taught in college anymore. Thats why guys like Purdy strive in it, and guys like Watson struggle in it.
Kamara and Carr both had great games and I think they are trying so hard not to give Carr credit here. Carr's first half he had a perfect passer rating and it set up the run beautifully. The second half the Saints did take their foot off the gas a bit and the 4th quarter had the backup QB in doing hand offs.
It's all in the numbers: dude threw 16 times for a total of 243 two TDs and a pick, Dak threw 39 times for 293 a TD and two picks. 11 to 27 for completions, Dak completed more than double the passes for 50 more yards and another pick. There's a lot of praise to hand out for NO, but the efficiency and accuracy of Carr should be near the front of the list.

Dak continues to fold when they play good teams. This is Dak’s 9th season with the Cowboys. I was hoping Jerry would wait till the end of the season to see if it was worth to extend Dak’s contract. Dak gets 60 million a year now and we are stuck with him another 5 years including this season.

Most of Dak's passing yardage came during garbage time, in the 4th quarter when the game was already decided, and the Cowboys were blown out. Both games vs the Saints and Green Bay are identical, Cowboys lost the games in the 1st quarter. Dak had no spark in both games. The Cowboys lazy zone defense for their opponent's passing game continues to fail miserably.
