Fun fact:
This gogeta is the first unit to counter perfect vanishes since his gauge applies even when attacking. So if you get PV’d the enemy can’t even get a combo started if you have a full gauge. Basically PV protection. Also blast armor protection when you go for a blast and the enemy strikes through it, the gauge will come in clutch for you

Let me put it into perspective how good he's gonna be. ULTRA SSJ2 GOHAN WAS A MONTHLY Character. THIS IS A ANNIVERSARY ULTRA in the most "F it" meta we've been in thus far. This guy has no choice but to make any one who doesn't have him uninstall the game. Its not his fault. Its the dev's.
If the anniversary Ultra wasn't this broken I honestly think it would be even worse than a broken anni Ultra.
And to be fair, I think they could and should have given him a lot more.

I am imagining a scenario where a LL Vegito player finally gets their hands on an opponent's gogeta and is about to rush, but then the gogeta gets the gauge filled and the vegito can't rush anymore and has no choice but to end the combo. I can't help but laugh thinking about that. The funny thing about the ultimate is that even if the endurance nullification gets nullified, since health restoration is reduced by 100% the opponent lives with 1 HP.
He literally counters both LF fusing vegito and fusing GB’s strongest mechanics with his gauge lol. He forces assault chain to stop by not only getting type neutral(defensively) but also heals so people cannot mindlessly spam strikes to kill UG4. He seals blues and greens on blue cards on activation, which means Ultra gohan cannot counter said blue because it seals it, which means you could try a drop combo strat with said blue to gain vanish if you already lose you’re vanish or simply kill gohan with the ult if you land the green.
But he doesnt counter rush
@@bananaeats2084 Read the kit. Once the gauge fills after taking a hit, rush is sealed for 5 counts. If the opponent tries to do any attack including ults, they will get countered. They are forced to end the combo. The only way for gogeta to get rushed is if the opponent lands it raw which won’t happen if you are skilled. Moreover, gogeta lowers sub counts by 5 when a rush activates so you can just switch to another unit and gogeta is safe.

His gauge will probably work the same as super baby 2 so it will take around 3-4 normal arts or 1 normal art and a blue card to fill the gauge. When last stand the charge rate doubles so now it fills in either 1 or 2 normal arts cards. We don’t know yet if it will only take 1 or 2. It will definitely only need 1 blue card to activate when last stand though. That or the devs will slightly alter it to fill slightly more or less than super baby 2. We won’t know for certain until tomorrow.

It started with Ultra Janemba, and now we have characters that not only counter pretty much everything, but they also have abilities with pretty much no counterplay. People who cant pull these units or just dont find them fun to use after a week are eventually gonna stop playing pvp or the game in general if they keep designing passive-play units like this

You can kind of argue that it's a bit of a waste using the 10 counts of cover null since the beginning of the match will prob be tap blasts and side stepping for the first 5ish counts anyway

In VB’s case, never under any circumstances would you lead with him if you’re any kind of competent at the game. All you miss out on this guy is like a very insignificant amount of cover nul in the grand scheme of your match. Not to mention it’ll be probably really easy to start a combo with him right off the bat with an ✨aoe green card✨ because there’s definitely a shortage of those in the meta

Meh, GT was due to get an purple and UG4 was the perfect opportunity to buff said team. Even with Ulthan, you forget that Ulthan’s existence is a massive buff to Ultra gohan being an hybrid/son family character. Meaning that the unit which was a “counter” didn’t counter said unit because it didn’t affect gohan but helped him get stronger. UG4 is the ultimate counter for both gohan’s while avoiding to buff the son family tag once again. Godku was a loss case since the beginning, so his value didn’t matter at all in the meta.

I think the attacking part refers to blast armor strikes. For example, if a unit with Blast armor attacks Gogeta while he's doing a blast arts, Gogeta's counter activates.
