Hi sonia. This is very authentic Bangalore recipe. This is very light on tummy , not at all heavy and served in many restaurants . U have showed step by step perfect recipe. U need to add little lemon in end before coriander . This served with red chutney . Its my fav evening snack with cup of filter coffee. In Bangalore we called this Shavige bath or shavige uppitu or shavige upma.

Classic dish. Few points, slit the cashew nut and put don't use full cashew nut. Onion 50% cut lengh wise and put on top vermicelli while hot will get half cooked and while mixing with masala will give more tasty. Green chilli could be used as slit one to care for children.

Made it just now. Has come out very well as described khila khila.
Added chopped capsicum too and omitted grated coconut as I didn't have. In the end added a dash of lime juice too. Followed strictly the instructions about the ghee quantity. Is very tempting and delicious. Thanks Sonia ji, for explaining so well.
