This is one of the most considered reviews I've ever seen, my dude. Thanks! My wife is pregnant and we're in an area undergoing heavy construction, so it's super important we get something that works and will work for a while during this high-stress time. Super helpful, thank you
Rainbow airwash is the best - lasts a long time and uses only water, meaning it doesn't use filter. Bowl of water is replaced 2-3 days when you see dusts in the bowl. Capacity is 3000 square ft and you can do forced air flow to stir all dusts in the air for quick clean up. It's healthier as you won't be exposed to flying dusts when you open to dump the dirty water. Product is sturdy and simple maintenance
Great video review. Had this for over a year. Huge buyers remorse! Does not humidify. Needs constant cleaning. Water pump seems to clog up a lot. Walmart evaporative humidifier does a better job according to separate humidity sensor for a 10th of the cost. Dyson looks good, over engineered and marketed in my opinion. Save your money and look for more affordable and effective options.

On 2:38 I believe you made a mistake when mentioning the filters, first it's the humidifier filter (orange color), then it's the formaldehyde filter (blue color), after that it's the Combi 360 Glass filter which is the carbon filter and HEPA filter (grey for carbon and white for the HEPA). Also I wasn't aware that the humidifier gets the Dyson carbon filters wet 2:49.
Seems like a bad installation or unit, it shouldn't wet that part and neither should there be that much dust inside the chamber, it should be fully sealed
So I bought one today….. when I am setting it to heat, I am unable to run the fan at speed 10. It does ramp up then within a minute or the fan speed drops to what feels like 1 but the screen still displays 10… Feels like a waste of time if it can’t heat a run unless it’s faulty. I had one of these in the UK and it worked perfectly.
THATS CRAZY!!!! Suddenly my humidifier stopped working. 😭 Dyson is sending me a replacement tho. But damn, that happened to me and you’re talking about it. Wild.
Would you recommend the TP09 or is there a better alternative? I live in a tropical area where I need to cool down during summer time and I also want something to purify the air at the same time. Thanks.
You can vacuum the HEPA filter to stop the insane amount of dust sitting there. I do all the time. Btw, you can buy the correct filters for your model from third party suppliers at 1/3 the cost. And they work, it’s evident by the reports the Dyson censors give you, exactly the same efficiency. Instead of paying $99AUD to buy from Dyson, I recently paid $34AUD from a supplier on eBay. I’ve had my HP04 for 5 years, you pay a lot of Dyson product, but wow do they last. It got me through the 2019 Black Summer (30% of Australia was on fire).
Hi! I would recommend a levoit air purifier and a dreo humidifier. The most important feature on a air purifier is the filter. Depending on the room size, a 250 Sq foot room would recommend the levoit core 400 or vital 200 ($170) + dreo 4l humidifier ($45). If you want more high end, I personally use alen air purifiers with their oem filters. Their top filter costs $130 but weight 3x filters from most other companies. They last me over a year of use 24/7 on low. Combo is hard because cool mist humidifiers even the $30 ones will outperform the Dyson as a humidifier.

It's healthier as you won't be exposed to flying dusts when you open to dump the dirty water. It also regulates humidity of the air, replaces dry air to cool air Product is sturdy and simple maintenance. Let me know where you are and I can refer you to a dealer

Very strange the dust is on the inside of the filter. Isn't supposed to be on the outerside where it pulls the dirty air from outside, bring it in and blow it out the top?🤔
Heyy, I don't have the HP09 but I do have two HP07's and they're great!! I have a 2 separate humidifier's with distilled water since it's getting so dry where I am.

What are the pros and cons of integrating human thermal sensors (non camera) in bedroom split system, where the smart split systems knows there’s no humans in the bedroom to auto turn on the “sucking power” of their allergen filtering system to remove contaminants from ambient air? When human opens the door and enters the room, the feature auto stops. When the filter is “full”, smart system with inbuilt e-data sim auto alerts VIP’s maid to change to new filter, discard old filter. The problem with this health enhancement is it extends the lifespan of VIP, VIP’s children and VIP’s parents/grandparents by decades by markedly delays the disbursement of VIP’s inheritance by decades. It’s hard to decide whether to approve the manufacturing and sale of such or similar inventions.
cringey water tank, huge opening and heavy. while there is reuse of function with an air purifier and humidifier, the benefit is so small and it can be replicated by simply putting a separate humidifier to the airflow of the fan. still, Dyson is commendable for integrating an air purifier and weak fan and I haven't seen any product that copied this idea. There is a Xiaomi air purifier where you can attach a duct to make it blow air in one direction but it does not move.
Overrated ...my experience has been bad..from day one the unit did not work and is yet to be replaced..Dyson costs 3 times more ..is it value for money..not for.me.

He just opened the covers on the filters. So it’s evidence of it doing its job. In 30 minutes, all that dust will be back in the filter. He does need to vacuum the filter sometimes though, to prevent that from happening when he opens it.
I would say dyson is just a hype. The quality of a product is worst, even the structure is so flimsy and the material is made out of cheap plastic. Not worth the money.
I like he left that blooper in there - made me chuckle 😊

You don’t want Dyson, it’s the worst one, look up Winix much better. We got a Dyson and it’s shite. 5500-2 is the one you want.

probably using hard water
So let's talk about this. Do we need a formaldehyde filter?
Shall we talk about this?
This, of course!
Great review, thank you! what alternative would you suggest?

Hi, may I know if this device can help to make room warm during winter?
This is air humidfier/purifier not heater
Ah okay. I thought it’s the cool +
Hot

how long does the water tank last during the dry winter climae at a high humidity level
Note at 2:40 thats the catalytic filter, not the carbon. The carbon filter is blended within the hepa filter.
Right! Not many understand this

Thank you! Could you recommend better combo machines?

Is there a bpu number ? In short does it work as an A/C?
Thx for the review. Do you know any otter purifier that takes out formaldehyde?

will this stop condensation build up on my bedroom windows in the morning?
No. You need a dehumidifier for that. But you normally wouldn't need it in a bedroom unless you live somewhere humid and don't use an ac.
Tank you for this info !
Can recommend a good humidifier/ purifier that would be good for an average size bedroom ?

For whatever reason there is no one reviewing it 🤔

amount of dust flying around the camera is hilarious, dont buy this item, or your dust will be fly instead of lay down on floor.
