Questions I have;
1) 7.2M jobs created, but where? For example; if a retail store switched to 100% ai shopping avenue, what would that look like for previous cashiers or managers? Where would they fit into the new 7.2M jobs? It’s hard to imagine needing that many cashiers to move to operating some kind of in-store tech system.
2) 7.2M jobs created, but do you think the jobs will be of more technological intelligence? &
3) by that time, do you think everyone who is slowly displaced will have had enough time & $ to learn the technology most likely required by the DIFFERENT jobs?
I ask because I’m a cashier now who can’t afford university at the moment & am super curious about the work future for myself and my family! I’d like your opinion? Thank you!!
I love the things you gave on healthcare, education, data & efficiency. I think I have a fearful extremist viewpoint right because I’m not educated enough to get a sensible job right now. So maybe that current fear is projecting into the future...

@Chetan Singh Sure, a FEW jobs will be created.. But not 7.2 million, to replace the 7 million lost to automation. That's just NOT how it works. "Experts" who claim that will happen, are liars trying to justify not changing our society to benefit everyone, to adapt to where technology is taking us.. Truth is, we've lived through this happening already, over the last few decades! Automation NEVER creates as many jobs as it replaces, and the jobs it does create, NEVER go to the same people who got displaced! Automation may create new jobs for the highly educated and members of the owner class.. But you cannot employ the majority of people, repairing automation. You only need 1 person to repair the machine which replaced 100 jobs.
Human needs to eat.. Human most basic important needs is FOOD....Why not get this AI machines to do the farming/fishing etc and get the food for us humans to eat........
those exist. Australia has been using AI in Farming so has the US and Japan has too. more cheap food than you could ever hope to shake a stick at. The problem is The cost of distribution of the food. gas to move transportation ain't free. Even self-driving cars need fuel to go From point A to point B. So AI Farming means more subsidies for Farmers to make less food. to Keep the price of food high for the Farmer's kid to have his or her own Smartphone.
We could be less than seven years away from the technological singularity so machines would rapidly evolve superintelligence. Assuming AI is friendly then we would be accelerated into a highly advanced civilization.
