I don't actually work with NAVA, so if you're asking what I personally set, unfortunately, I don't. In general though, from my understanding, you'll set peep, FiO2 and a NAVA level. This NAVA level is the factor by which the electrical signal from the diaphragm is multiplied by to determine the amount of inspiratory assist coming from the vent. Normally set between .5-2.0. Then of course, backup settings are set to ensure mandatory ventilation, in the case of apnea or malpositioned diaphragm probe. Does this answer your question?
