Hi Carl, The new version you demoed is a big improvement over the old model, a lot easier to replicate a design. As you said, it is a lot of fun and a great way to use up those little cut off pieces (some call them scraps, I prefer small turning blanks). Thin pieces can be glued up in a stack and even wedges and such glued together give unique designs. Thanks for the demo, now off to have some fun. Cheers, Tom
Thanks Carl, you reminded me that I have the old Joyner jig, in a drawer. I have been trying to work out what to take to turning weekend in a couple of weeks . . . I'll test it on the little travel lathe set up tomorrow, see if I like it.
