Was a great airplane for whatv itv was designed to do..just a tad slow. And the RAF boys quickly found out that even with eight .303 Browning machine guns, they were still out-gunned..Only later with better ordnance, more powerful engine did this fighter plane price itself. Still, it just wasn't a Spitfire..!!
