Technical excellence. The video coverage makes the listening/viewing experience more interesting,rather than just having to stare at an unchanging image of,say,an album cover,as is so often the case. This performance leaves very little to be desired over and above what is already there.

Davvero una splendida esecuzione, piena di pathos e di magnifica eleganza. Se posso, vorrei permettermi una domanda di tipo tecnico: il suono non è mai metallico; gli strumenti sembrano di epoca almeno classica (o una loro ottima replica), e mi sembra di vedere ponticelli barocchi. Ma gli archetti sono moderni, o al più classici. Che cosa usate, in realtà? Che tipo di strumenti, archi, corde?

Buona sera. Grazie del suo gentile commento. Gli strumenti usati dai musicisti dell'Ensemble sono moderni. Abbiamo piuttosto cercato, quando più possibile, di attenerci alla prassi esecutiva/interpretativa barocca.
