Chicken Bhuna (or Dry Bhuna Chicken Masala depending on what you call it) is a “dry curry,” which means the masala clings onto the chicken (rather than the chicken swimming in sauce). It is basically a chicken curry that is cooked in spicy onion-tomato masala. This popular North Indian chicken curry is easy to make at home.
Ingredients:
1 kg chicken
1 tsp salt
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 turmeric
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tsp garlic paste
1 tbsp coriander seeds
1 tsp fennel seeds
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp black pepper
4-5 cloves
4-5 green cardamom
1/3 cup oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
2 red chilies
1 cup onion
1 tbsp ginger paste
1 tbsp garlic paste
1 tsp salt
2 tsp kashmiri chili powder
1 cup tomato paste
1/2 cup yogurt
