There is no formal pattern for this project, just this video. This project is domestic friendly - I made mine using my Janome 15000. I Even added a wrist strap to one by using a scrap of cork and a rivet (not shown in video). These are so quick and easy to make! I can't wait to see yours!

I made this wallet today and this is one of the BEST tutorials EVER. You make things EASY to follow! Thank you.
This is just lovely. Your very organized and detailed but quick teaching style is wonderful. No fluff. Thank you for sharing so graciously.
Love this fabric. I’ve never used cork, but I do want to try this. I have lots of quilting cotton, because I quilt. I have just started making bags, with cotton and vinyl. This looks so simple. Thank you. You’re doing a great job on this. A little fast, but I can slow it down or just stop and rewatch. It’ll work.
I wish there was a love button on here actual page! ❤❤❤❤ I love this one. Such an easy sew. Thank you so much.
I love your tutorials. I made one today. I didn't have too many issues until the very last step. I have a Janome Memory Craft 7700. I had trouble with the material sliding while going around the corners. On the last step, I had trouble getting the material to feed properly. I tried several different feet, changed the pressure. Finally ended up placing the wallet flap side up and the flap pulled out of the way. Using my clear F foot and removing that extra layer finally did the trick. Yay me!
Can you raise you feed dogs or lower your pressure foot? That would help.
I have looked and looked for a tutorial on faux leather. I didn’t know about cork really until I started trying to find the tutorials. I really have such a hard time with turning fabric projects (arthritic hands), I just feel this will be so much easier. I don’t think though that my machine is strong enough but I’ll see.
Thank you so much for your time. 😊
Thank you for this tutorial and the free Pattern. I will be using my cork fabric for this; since I belong to a monthly cork subscription box.
Jessica, I loved your video, loved the cork you used also. Thank you, look forward to seeing more of your videos.
I love your narration. Your are a great teacher.
I have cork and been afraid to use it. Thanks so very much. Your technique and presentation are superior. I love the explanations - the reasons you offer for decisions. K
Thank you! Give a cork a try - I think you’ll love it!
I love this wallet!! Took your class last year at SME and loved it. Had so much fun making this, that I bought a couple of the kits too!! Made awesome gifts! Thank you
Thank you for another easy and functional project. Just the "pick me up" that I needed today.
I just finished one. On the back pocket I added a snap. Thank you for the great tutorial!
Love Love Love. This video. You are such an innovative sewer!
Oh this is just lovely! Can't wait to try it for myself...thank you so much! Honestly..your teaching style and voice are really wonderful.
This is going to be my first cork project. Just received my shipment of gorgeous cork from your shop. Can’t wait to try it. You’re an excellent teacher. Thank you!
Thank you so much! I think you’ll really enjoy it!
Excellent tutorial! Can’t wait to make a cork wallet!
Thank you for the great tutorial and free pattern. I just made one yesterday and it was so fun. Your tutorial made it so easy!
Thank you Jessica, great pattern can't wait to try it.
Excellent tutorial; fab project; beautiful fabric (the Flourish).
Thanks for the free pattern! Amazon has white pens that you use for fabric, vinyl, etc. I am going to use Cricut to cut mine.
You are a great teacher. I love this.
I love this and thank you so much for sharing your pattern with us, I really appreciate that. 🤗
Thanks for sharing. Want to make this for my SILs for Christmas.
I loved this project. This was my first cork project. The only problem I had was marking where the magnet goes on the flap. In the video, you demonstrated how to mark the cork by pressing down on the magnet prongs. I struggled with it and measured it incorrectly. The magnet works fine, but since it's a little off, the flap is not flat. I have to pull down on the flap to close the magnet. Do you have any suggestions or measurements I could use to mark the magnet placement on the flap?
I just finished the Charlotte pouch and absolutely love it. I'm a newbie and felt pretty proud of how it came out. LOVE your patterns. Thanks for such great tutorials too!!!
Omg I have been looking for a slim wallet like this it is divine providence that I found you!

Clear and concise. Thank you. Loved this video.
Made this wallet today. Its nice. Thank you.
I'm excited to try this!
Thank you so much for this project. Your instructions are wonderful……Can’t wait to try to make one. Thank you….Where did you purchase the light teal cork??……love the color……
You can find all the supplies on my website 😊
If you use a lighter lightly around the edge of the cork, it will take care of all the little threads.
Beautiful!! Can’t wait to make this wallet!
A great video ❤ must try. Thank you so much
Another awesome video and pattern! Thank you
Hi! What magnetic snaps do you use, and where do you purchase them? Thank you for your help!
I have made one. came out nice.
Great tutorial.Thanks for sharing.
Awesome pattern. Thank you!
Thank you was a awesome tutorial now I want more cork lol
Love this! Will u be getting that blue floral back in stock? I want lol
I meant the one u sew with in this video
Great tutorial! You mentioned edge coating. Do you used leather edge coat?
I have played with it a bit but it’s not for me. I find it tedious but I love when others do it 😂 If I’m going to finish my edges I just use fabric fusion.
Hi! Thanks for the great video and free pattern! So excited to make this. Your video makes every step so clear. I saw the cute little wrist strap in the photo on your website. I can't quite tell what the length and width is. And is the cork single thickness or double thickness? Thanks so much!
It’s a scrap that measured 12” x 1”. I folded it in half so it was 1/2” wide and topstitched. Then I used a rivet to add it on. Sorry I forgot to mention it in the video!
Have you thought of adding htv to make a lining?
Great instructions
Great tutorial!
Amazingggggggg thanks so much for all you do for us.
Thank you! 😊
Do I see a fabulous kit in our future??
Maybe!
May I ask where you purchased those printed Cork fabrics from.
They’re on my website 😊

It’s beautiful 😍. I’ve never made anything out of Cork but I want to. So, I’m going to try this little beauty. Thank you so much 👏👌👌👌👌😍😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Great video!!! Thank you!!!!
Very nice. Thank you
Can you use a 2 1/2 inch circle ruler to make the curves instead of the paper template?
Can you add a wristlet strap too?
Sure!
can I add one more cards pocket?
Does edgecoat need a basecoat?
To make one like you did, how size of the main cork does it take? It's beautiful.
I used a 9x27 and a 9x12 with some leftover. All the information and cutting can be found on the Tutorials page of my website 😊
I love this 😍
I did it ! Wish I could add a picture
You can always email one!
Can you please tell me where you get that beautiful cork for these ?
My website 😊

Thank you so much will be ordering tonight🤗💖
Do you do your edge coat last?
What size needle do you use on your machine I have a janome hd3000
I use a 90/14. I typically like a microtex needle or a topstitch over a universal. You will have no issues with your HD 3000 and this wallet!
It was all going so well…until my machine started making a rhythmic clunk every so often as the needle went into the cork. First time sewing with cork so I wasn’t sure what was going on. Then the upper thread snapped. Taking a closer look I realized that there was something sticky on the needle. Long story short, I was using the double sided tape to hold the pocket and that’s what was gumming up the needle. Had to tear out two pocket layers and fight the gummed up adhesive of my make. First time using double sided tape before, too. Anyone else experienced defective tape?
Yes, tape can always gum up your needle. Basting tape might work better.
Do you have any videos for help to sew along a curve? Thanks!
Not at this time but I am working on more videos.
What’s the material that goes in between the fabric? And stiffened the fabric for wallets…
Do you mean interfacing? This wallet doesn’t use any since it’s made from cork which has a backing fabric already on it.
why did you say cut 9x27 . when you use 8x10 for zipper. and 8x7.5 . and and 4for credit cards
I cannot find the printed instructions.
Sorry, just found it.
Where can I get edge coat
I use Angelus from Amazon or Giardini from Buckle Guy.
